Sturdy but soft
Soft but strong and washed up well. They need a bit of pressing with a hot iron after washing but the come out great.

Excellent for Shibori dyeing
Good value. These are a nice cotton/linen blend which result in a finely textured napkin. It’s not plush or thick but nicely weighted for a casual dinner napkin. I bought the white 20x20 hem stitch and find it does shrink a bit and it’s not perfectly squared but also not noticeably lopsided either. I used them for a Shibori dye pattern and the cloth took the dye beautifully especially compared to another white cotton napkin that was thicker.

Very nice napkins
These are 12% Linen and rest cotton which makes for a luxurious feel and drape. Nice 20" size and my plan is to embroider an initial on them which will work well with these, I think. Very soft and a little thin but not too thin, still look very nice with the hemstitching and the mitered corners.

Like to iron?
I have always used polyester tablecloths and napkins. They are easy to use: no ironing and they wash well. I decided that I should upgrade to cotton/linen for a touch of elegance in my dining room, so I bought this tablecloth and matching napkins. They were thinner than I expected, but looked nice on the table (after ironing.) I've used them once and just removed them from the dryer. They are extremely wrinkled, requiring a full ironing. The napkins are also noticeably yellower than the tablecloth, even though they were washed together. I will iron them all, but I suspect they will stay in my linen closet.

Do not buy! They are defective!
Do not buy! I don’t get how this item has great reviews. These are the worst napkins ever. They aren’t even on all sides, some have stains and they aren’t super thin. I bought these for embroidery but will have to search for something else.

Great for monogramming
These did not disappoint! Great quality. They monogrammed beautifully. The reorder seemed to have a different quality and caused a bit of difficulty wrinkling as the machine monogrammed. Overall we were able to make these work beautifully!
