This amazing masterpiece is more than just a technical book on Cyber-Security as it clearly lays out how to look at Cyber Security from a leadership viewpoint. I grew-up a datacenter engineer and have dealt with every technology related to virtualization much before the name of "Cloud & Cyber Security" could have come to people's thought However, this book has developed a distinctly different perspective for me. Therefore, Execs and senior industry leaders can use this book as a guide to help drive their organizations towards sustainability while coping-up with technological advancement. I have both the versions of Cyber-Security Leadership, Audible as well as Kindle and I truly enjoy combining listening & then connecting his words while reading that on my kindle app. I like to gain knowledge from many audiobooks during my commutes and this one is by far one of my favorites. Well actually, the audible version of this is a continuous play in my car during my daily commute. Very well narrated and very Informative. I recommended it for every Cyber Professional, Business Leaders and Academic Professionals as it is very essential in today's world. I will soon buy one hard copy to keep it on my book shelf for sharing it with friends & colleagues of same interest. So, must buy “CyberSecurity Leadership” as hard copy book as well – it is an excellent write-up with carefully crafted content and references along with given citations & credits to those who helped. Thanks Dr. Mansur for writing and sharing this masterpiece with all of us. Best, Anil Review: A Must Read - Reviews aren't really my thing. Case in point, I bought this book in 2019 and am only now getting around to writing a review. But I wanted to do so because this book just makes sense. There are so many things wrong in the world of cybersecurity, but the root cause with most issues is that management/leadership is failing in some way or another. I'm not talking about leadership solely in IT or Security functions so it's not just for CIOs/CISOs...this book should hit home for anyone in the C-suite, or anyone aspiring to be in a leadership role. BUT it doesn't stop there either. There are many other sections in the book that address areas of a business that are not in the C-suite, so this book is a great read for ALL business professionals, whether you're in cyber, finance, marketing, sales or whatever. Why? Because cybersecurity is a business wide issue and it takes every employee in the company to be diligent and do their part. I am most appreciative of how much this book focuses on people. Cybersecurity can be a very technical field that is often difficult to understand and so often the most important factor to maintaining a secure posture gets overlooked - the people. Dr. Hasib demonstrates through his own experiences how investing in employees - not just with money - creates a healthy work environment for all. While some sections of this book may need periodic updates as technology changes, this hardly detracts from the overall quality of the book. The message Dr. Hasib conveys regarding ethical leadership, building a cybersecurity program, and treatment of people will stand the test of time. A brilliantly written book that I will continue to re-read periodically.

Must Read for All Cybersecurity Professionals
It is an incredible book that all cybersecurity professionals should read, particularly leaders and innovators. I would really love to see an update to this 2015 edition, given modern technology. It’s principles transcend time and is purposefully written to empower fellow professionals to engage, improve and secure the industry and the organizations that comprise the industry. It is a brilliantly written analysis of the difficulties we face in the industry and how we proceed forward in a more effective manner! Highly recommend everyone in the security space read it!

Interesting perspectives and insights.
It seemed heavy on the opinions at times and light on actionable material. Overall an easy read with good basic insights.

Spelunking - No. Journey to the center of the earth - Yes.
Wow! Where should I begin, and how can I adequately summarize a comprehensive guide to [any] successful business/organization, and in what manner can I possibly conclude when so much more should be relayed to you? I cannot do any of that. Get the book! My journey to the center of the earth began when I purchased the Kindle book. I am a continuous learner, and (shame on me) I falsely presumed the book would speak exclusively of cybersecurity, a very narrow field of Information Technology. That is where I mistakenly thought I was going to explore a cave with this book. Wrong and duly corrected - I was humbled to learn so much in such a short time. Dr. Hasib took me through the cave and all the way down to the center of the earth. I understand so much more now what cybersecurity is, how it is everyone's job, how it saves money, how it generates revenue, and many other things along the way. But what is most importantly stressed within these pages, is a collection of genuine, mature, compassionate, intellectual, and ethical guidance for a cybersecurity leader. Success hinges on ethical leadership, and anyone can be or become that leader. Dr. Hasib, thank you for gifting me the audio version. I have the Kindle version for continued reference. And I sincerely hope I am blessed with the invaluable privilege of meeting you in person someday. Kindest regards, sir.

Great overview of the value of servant leadership
No culture can succeed without leadership. Dr. Hasib offers insight into the importance of leadership in organizations and how appropriate cybersecurity leadership recognizes the value in building a cybersecurity culture within the organization. His book should be required reading for anyone aspiring to lead in any industry, but especially in cybersecurity.

A Primer for Cybersecurity
This book is well written. It is easy and pleasant book to read. Cybersecurity is clearly explained, where the book covers not only technical aspects for an IT audience but also for management/leadership audiences as well as for the cybersecurity professional in general. The roles of the CIO and the CISO are well defined as the author explains definitions based on personal experiences. The author includes comparisons of CIO/CISO functionality with other C-level positions. The basic attributes of security (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability) are addressed throughout the book. Of special interest is the emphasis the author makes on ‘doing the right thing’ for employees at all levels of an organization/institution by following good ethical practices. The author discusses cybersecurity best practices not only as it applies to industry (emphasis in healthcare) but also to all levels of academia. In addition, the author provides security guidance when selecting technical solutions for certain commonly used tools (i.e. video conferencing, open source, etc). I enjoyed reading this book. This should be a primer for technical as well as non-technical audiences interested in cybersecurity.

Superficial and off focus
While Dr. Hasib has moments in this book that focus on required organization structure required for cybersecurity leadership, he rarely dives down into meanigful support arguements, instead opting for story telling of his own work history, and often falls way off topic like trying to explain the need for Health Exchanges. I was hoping to get insights to help support arguements for the need of cybersecurity employees and better governance. While I can take some aspects of this book as new knowledge, it was mostly a wasteful read.
