Gardeners Edge AquaFarm Hydroponic Fish and Food Tank

Haven't set it up yet but great looking project for a college dorm

I had one of these things and it was awfull! First of all mold grew in the white plastic part where the plant cups go. The fish was sick for a long time and I couldn't find any fish meds that would do the trick, my beautifull peacock blue crown tail betta only lasted one year total when it could have made eight to ten years. Second the only plant that came with the kit that would grow was wheat grass. I was hoping to grow herbs like basil on my kitchen counter not grass. Third it was advertized as no need to clean but solid waist would build up and was plain to see. i had to siphon once a week like any other tank. That dosen't bother me like the mold though. fourth the air pump broke after a week.
