Excellent , does exactly what you want, making those big items really small using up less space

These bags are really, really good. I have only used 2 so far, one for clothes just to test it, and the other to store a thick, duck down kingsize duvet. The duvet was a struggle to fit in the bag but once it was in, the little zipper thing to seal it was really easy to use and fast. The vent on the bag has a one way valve so you don't have to worry about air getting back in to it once you have vacuumed it out. When using the pump, it screws in place making a brilliant seal. I started to use the included pump which it was clear would take absolutely hours to get all the air out. I didn't want to get the hoover out as one of the main reasons to buy this is to use at the caravan where we don't take the hoover. I had the brain wave of unsealing the bag to squeeze some air out. It did occur to me that i might break the bag using this method but then I remembered the '100% money back guarantee' in the description. So I opened up the side of the seal. There are 2 seal strips which both work really well, after opening an inch or so I was worried that the seals might split open along the seam but with most of my 16 stone weight on the bag pushing the air out of the little split I had made I am happy to say the seals didn't open any more and the bag showed no signs of splitting. They really are made very well. Once I was sure I had as much air out as I could, I resealed the top and set about attaching the pump again, but again, got sick of using it. The pump is just too small, but its free so i am not marking it down. I got out the hoover... well... dyson and noticed there is a little thumb button on the end of my hoover tube to attach accessories to so I could not get a perfect seal on the bag vent thing, however this was not too much a problem as it was still working very effectively. I got as much air out as I could then fitted the pump on again to get the last out and it was clear when there was little air left in the bag. The pump got stiff to use. I would definately recommend this product.

Overall a very great product as to compare against other similar products.The material is very thick and of strong plastic. However I only give a 4 star as out of 3 bags deflated, 1 bag started to inflate (not completely) again after 24 hours, the other 2 are still holding after nearly a week. The 2 that are holding are the larger ones and the 1 that started to inflate is from the medium range. We tried some different brands before, but this brand is far superior.

It was time to get to grips with my wardrobe and the way forward was to shrink everything to create room. These vacuum bags are great, they work. I’ve managed to get a huge amount into each bag. The secret in success I think, is to make certain you do not load so that items go to close to the full line. I also found that packing coats, you need to make certain if they are wind proof, NOT to have them next to the suction hole as it won’t work, put the coat under something else and all will be fine. I bought a bag of 8 and I haven’t had a failure. They were done a couple of weeks ago and no leakage yet. Very impressed.

I have bought several packs of these over the years for myself and family members. Sadly they are far cry from the quality they used to provide. They are still acceptable but not worth the price as much, as they are much more prone to tearing and reinflating.

Based on other reviews, I purchased a pack of four large bags. They all have stayed vacuum packed. I used two for duvets in our motorhome using the hand pump. As long as you screw the connector on, the hand pump worked well. I hadnt connected it properly to start with and initially gave up like some of the other reviewers did. I will probably buy some smaller bags for packing clothes in the motorhome. Recommended.

The variety of sizes was nice to be able to pick what I needed for storage, the pump worked wonderfully too! Especially if you don't have a vacuum or one that’s tubular to fit on some other, this is a great way! I'm using it to store clothes to help move between uni flats, seal is good, just be prepared for it to occasionally pop off of you put too much stress on the screw part. Obviously, it takes a biiittt of work to suck out as much air as one can with the pump, a few more minute has to be set aside to account for that when packing up. Other than the pump occasionally popping off of my bags towards the end, it's a great purchase. You might want to invest in a small hand held vacuumed if you’re planning on doing a lot of storage instead of just something that can fit in two suitcases

Based on the reviews I had read, I purchased 4 of the Jumbo vacuum bags. How disappointing. They DO NOT maintain their vacuumed state as reviewed. I have tried everything including reducing the amount in the bag to 1 x standard pillow, however fail within 2 days!

Sembra impossibile ma ancora non ci si rende conto di quanto spazio si risparmia negli armadi mettendo indumenti o coperte ecc sottovuoto. Anche se viene con una pompetta, i migliori risultati si ottengono usando un buon aspirapolvere (non a batteria) al massimo della potenza. Il prodotto è a buona tenuta

Je viens de les recevoir ce jour, (28.06.2019) et y ai déjà installé 1 couverture et 2 couettes. Gain de place évident!. Je ne peux pas parler d'étanchéité, n'ayant pas eu le temps de les tester sur ce point. Le modèle jumbo que j'ai choisi ( 80cmx100cm): chacune des housses de cette taille peut contenir confortablement par exemple une grosse couette en laine pour un lit de 2 personnes (200x220cm), mais pas plus. Et encore, il faut bien la plier pour la faire entrer dans la housse. Seul l'aspirateur est efficace et rapide, en revanche la pompe aspirante dite "de voyage" est totalement inopérante, c'est un gadget inutile. Sinon le produit me semble de très bonne qualité, solide, très facile et rapide d'utilisation. Voir ensuite sur le long terme...
