CATS KICK ARSE!
I was in need of some winter boots. We got hit with an anomalous snowfall and subzero conditions and I found myself trekking around in New Balance Cross Trainers which weren't cutting it. I originally started looking for insulated winter boots and realized that those would be wasted. We just don't get cold enough on the West coast to justify spending $100 plus on winter boots. Then i started looking at high top hikers and realized that I wasn't interested in those either. My search lead me to these CAT Revolvers.I've owned 2 previous pairs of CATS in my life, but never a pair like this. I loved the simplicity and versatility of owning a pair of leather boots which were ultimately the alternative to rubber gum boots.I'm a size 11 and these fit me perfectly right out of the gate. I wore cotton socks and had absolutely no issues breaking them in. I'd say within a day of use they were good to go. Prior to use I used a silicone boot spray and applied 1 layer. I made sure to thoroughly coat the entire boot with the spray and left them for 24 hours to cure.I've been wearing these almost daily in our slushy ice conditions. I've not been shy...i've purposely slugged through the slush and muck in an attempt to capture my youth. These boots still look fantastic and are getting a patina to them which I welcome. I wear tactical cargo pants made out of ripstop as my staple pants and these do not look out of place with them. I tuck the pant legs OVER the boot and they look like regular dockers to the untrained eye. Our streets freeze at around 1600 hours and i've managed to walk around our unplowed neighbourhood without falling. I feel confident in my footing and I really enjoy wearing these boots. Here's the catch. If you are the thermal underwear, wool sock, type of person...these may not be for you. I don't mind having my feet a bit chilly as these are not lined in any way like Winter boots. I don't feel uncomfortable....but they offer as much insulation from the cold as a pair of rubber boots. For my feet i've always been a size 11 in runners and I found that these fit me perfectly. I have slightly wide feet and I had no issues getting into these. I found that the right boot was a little bit stickier than the left, but thats probably got more to do with my biology than the boots. Over time the boots stretched a bit and allowed for seamless entry/exit.I had zero issues driving in these boots. My wife's vehicle is a 2012 Mazda 5 with an automatic transmission....I drive a 2016 Mazda 6 with a manual transmission. I had no issues in the Mazda 5. I also had no issues in my Mazda 6 operating the clutch and manipulating the pedals as I drove. This surprised and pleased me greatly. The build quality on these boots is awesome! I was torn between these CATS and a pair of Doc Martens with cordura uppers. I'm glad I went for the all leather cats....there's something about the leather that just feels better. I like the soles and grip, I like the design, and I even like the CAT logo on the pull tabs.At the time of this review I paid $70 USD for these boots. In my opinion, I would have paid $100 USD for this boot and been perfectly satisfied. These are a good deal and I'd definitely buy them again.UPDATE 2017-04-02I spent last month in Brampton, Ontario.....where it actually snows...and its actually cold. These boots were my staples and they performed flawlessly. I was even complimented on them by family who were surprised that a West Coaster had the foresight to bring boots. The love affair with these boots continues.

Do Not Buy
I ordered these boots on 12/29/18 and received them a few days later. As a Project Manager I only were them two days a week while visiting my job sites. Here it is barely 3-months later the sole is starting to separate. I looked to see if I could contact the seller only to find that the return on these boots ended on 2/1/19. For eighty dollars I do expect my boots, especially Cat, to last longer than 3-months. I may understand it better if I was working in the field and being rough on them, but a couple days a week just walking around is unacceptable. 28-days total I have worn these boots.... unreal.

Loved my Wolverines
Replaced my Wolverines with this boot. Loved my Wolverines. I have somewhat wide feet, but it doesn't usually require me to purchase a wide size. I soon as I pulled these out of the box, I seen they were extremely narrow. I could barely even get them on. I returned them for a "wide" width. They are wide enough, but barely. The leather isn't nearly as soft and these boots are not comfortable and haven't broken in like I thought they would. Wish I had returned them and just got another pair of Wolverines. I do not recommend these to anyone unless they have less than average feet width and will not be walking/working much in them.

Good Boots
Like others have stated, the boot shaft is pretty narrow, especially with my taro patch feet, but once past the heel counter it's a okay fit (a bit small at first but the boots stretched out comfortably where it's now a snug but comfortable fit). Since I ride a motorcycle daily, I've used sno seal on the leather and it hasn't leaked water through the leather or through the soles (5 rain storms) and am very happy with this performance. The leather and rubber soles are thick enough where I think these boots will last a while. No padding inside so if you're not used to that, these are not the boots for you. Other than that, I think this was a good buy, not the best, but good.

Well sized, snug pull, good soles. Full break in review update.
Day one review:I wear a 10 in literally everything. These boots fit well. I will likely need to break them in with thick socks like i do with all pull on boots.I had no trouble pulling these on, its a snug pull but that is a sign that the boot is sized right. The soles are comfy and absorbing for shock.Ill need to put some miles on them and update this review, but for day one I am very pleased and can say that these fit exactly as expected.Week one review: Break in was easy. The ankle cup hit a bit high on my right foot and caused a little chafing. I fixed that with a $5 pair of dr scholls heel inserts and now these boots are perfection. They have hit “can walk miles in these in comfort” status which is not always guaranteed in a pull on boot like this. Very happy with this purchase. I was considering Frye ($$$$) and Ariat ($$$), but these won the day.

Best Work Boot I Have Ever Owned
Best work boots I have ever owned. Have had them for 15 months now and wear them five days a week, astounded at how well they have held up especially considering how hard I am on them. They breathe well and are comfortable. I do remember when I originally bought them they were a bit stiff when trying to put on, but after breaking them in I had no issues.

Ice cream, soda pop, cherry on top.
The boots are awesome, there not fully waterproof. But it stays dry for a bought 2 minutes up to the ankle line in water, I've been rocking mine for almost 4 months, the only thing I don't like is that I've had 2 people say they look like girls boots. But they where darlickt. They scuff up and then look nice again in a day. The sole isn't too thick its actually thin and there isn't room for inserts, or padding. But there nice and reliable great for work, hiking, or as I use em a every day shoe. Buy a pair you'll like em.
