Great little book
This is a great addition to my sons books in his nursery. I like that it's about multiple sharks and educational.

Love it!
I didn’t expect much from this book given it’s a child’s book, though the Little Golden Books are always awesome. But I was very impressed by the very cool art style and the amount of shark facts in it! My daughter, though she’s too young to read yet, loves looking at the pictures. I also love that the end of the book touches on sharks being villainized and that we shouldn’t be so afraid of them.

We love this book!
My boys - 2 and 3 years old - are all about Ocean animals! This book is great! It’s informational yet not overly complicated. It’s not overly wordy, so my 2 year old enjoys it as well as a 6 year old would! The pictures are great! We point out other animals in the pictures - fish etc.We love the Little Golden Books! And will get more of them!

So much information
I gave this 5 stars because you do learn a lot about Sharks and if you have a kid who loves sharks this is the book for them. My son loves Sharks so it is perfect. It is kind of long and there is no story, its just like a little encyclopedia for your kids. Amazingly my son sits through the entire book and is really excited about it.

Better suited for older child?
I got this book for my 23 month old to take on a beach trip. The words are a bit above what a toddler can understand, to be honest I learned more than I had ever known about sharks in reading this to him. By the end of the book he had learned the word shark and enjoyed pointing out other fish and finding the shark on each page and pointing to the sharks different fins. Decent book overall but not a quick read, more educational and a bit higher reading level with very detailed info about sharks, probably not the best choice for a toddler.

Shark week gift
This turned out to be the perfect gift for our grandson as he grows older. It was purchased as an accompaniment to Shark Week on television. Now our grandson is more interested in the pictures and his dad's narrative, of course, but the book is interesting and informative, a good introduction/continuing resource for a young child.

Awesome
I love sharks and I want to get my daughter to like them too so I got this book. It's very informative and features species that are not discussed frequently. Very cool!
