Be prepared for a challenge.
First things I noticed out of the box was the top quality construction, and that it was a little heavier than I thought it was going to be. I've practiced a few times so far about 30 minutes at a time and have seen a little progress each time that makes me really want to stick with it, but I know I have a long way to go before I'm really riding the skatecycle and I can't wait. The challenge to learning this is half the fun.

Ha-ha, I wasn't able to learn how to ride ...
Ha-ha, I wasn't able to learn how to ride it. It was stolen from me by couple of neighour teenagers, who loves it. I can see them riding it time after time. :LOL:Definitely it is not a toy for old people.

the product is terrible
I hated the product when I ordered this it was nothing like what it said it was and when I watched a video it said that the was basically a overboard and the the things that you stand on were pressure plates tat cause you to move it was not that at all i was very disappointed in the produced and disliked it very much

Great gift but needs some coordination
My son loved this gift but he's still trying to figure out how to ride it. He hasn't broken anything yet!!

but it is at least 10 times as fun. Been riding it for about 2 months now ...
Its probably 10 times harder to ride than a ripstick, but it is at least 10 times as fun. Been riding it for about 2 months now and it is still a challenge, but great for getting to and from work.

Too difficult for most...
I bought this for my 12 year old and it proved to be way to difficult for him to use. It's a novel idea but I couldn't even get the older kids with great skateboarding skills to try it. I read the reviews and knew it would be challenging. Should have paid attention to the reviews.
