Great price, thin, lightweight tire.
The box is slightly larger than the Q-Tubes version, and uses a glossy ink on normal card stock. I didn't take calipers to it, and I didn't weigh the tube, but the Q-Tubes version was 143g for a 26x1.5-1.75 (ISO 40/47-559/584). These are thin and lightweight compared to Avenir. They're lightly dusted with talc to prevent sticking. The price is great, among the best on Amazon. This is presently available Amazon Prime, and ships/delivers very quickly when ordered that way. These fit/stay in the tire better than the Avenir. These are not thorn resistant, but should be great for urban trails and roads. * If you need protection from thorns, a heavier tire is probably best. * If you need protection from glass or nails, then you'd want a Kevlar belted tire. As long as you install them properly, these should work fine: A) Inspect the tire inside and out for any thorns, cuts, nails, or damage. B) Remediate any tire problems, which may mean cleaning, removing junk, patching, or replacing. C) Inflate the tube just enough for it to stay round when holding it up by the stem. D) Fit the tube into the tire. It should not expand or obstruct the bead. E) Fit the tire onto the rim, starting with the valve stem. F) Hand or foot inflate until the bead seats. G) Squeeze the bead all the way around to make sure it's not slipped anywhere. H) Continue inflating to half of the desired pressure. I) Re-check the bead to make sure it's not slipping loose anywhere. J) Make sure you can bounce the tire, or mash on the tread with your palm. K) Finish inflating to somewhere between the tire's printed minimum and maximum pressures. Regarding pressure, use the lower end for rough trail, higher end for smooth pavement. Some people go outside of the rated pressures, and this CAN be okay sometimes. Too low, and hitting a bump could cut the tube. Too high, and the tire bead could slip off of the rim, causing the tube to burst. There are variances too. * If your rim is too small or too large, this can affect safe pressure ranges. * If your tire is old or damaged, then it won't hold as much pressure safely. The ratings on the tire are based on average conditions, so a new tire, on an over-width rim could take higher pressure, etc. YMMV, but I find it's usually best to follow the recommended pressures, and if you need something else (softer, or harder tire), then use the proper replacements rather than going out of spec. Lastly, ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET. Your brain is important, and CPSC approved helmets protect your skull from impact fracture. If you can afford a MIPS or AIM helmet (technology, not brand), then those are even better and protect your brain from sloshing as much on any sort of impact, such as falling rather than being hit by a car.

Perfect for family mountain bike
I bought this tube in combination with the Kenda Rain V-Cut Wire Bead Bicycle Tire, Skinwall, 26X1.5 for a 15 year old Giant bike. I got the Schrader valve 26x1.5-1.75 size for the tire which is 26x1.5. With a small amount of finesse I stuffed the tube into the new tire, filled it up and set out for a trial ride. Worked like a champ at about 70 psi. This is mainly pavement/sidewalk riding, so easy terrain for the tire and tube, but so far it has done everything I wanted for a low price. Paired with the aforementioned tire this makes a great family bike rider combo.

the rest of the world has inflation that goes easily into schrader valves and even with the valve adapter
so, i did not intend on schrader not fitting. guess i forgot the presta valves were much thinner. i plan to alter the bike these are for to make them schrader only. why? b/c those of us old enough to know realize that presta loses air, flats more, and in general is a really inconvenient way to equip tires of bikes. the rest of the world has inflation that goes easily into schrader valves and even with the valve adapter, i have ruined many heads of inflation pumps trying to fiddle with them into fitting and sealing properly. it's a huge PITA. so, back to this tube....it is thick and feels substantial. had it been flimsy or whimpy, i most likely would have sent it back on not even considered converting to schrader holes on this 700 hybrid bike rim (for the cost of a drill bit and metal file or $12).

These gave a second hand bike for my little daughter new life!
After purchasing a cute little used minnie mouse bike for my daughter online, we realized the tire went flat after a few days. I purchased two of these with the click of a button, and they arrived a day later! Installing them was a snap, and we've had no problems since. I highly recommend these little bike tubes.

Good tubes, after one week this one is still at optimal pressure. Update: Close to two months later, tubes are still fine. I had a flat due to a thorn within three weeks of installation (my tires are thin) but i patched it up and it's still holding up. Still satisfied.

Original box of the item was very old and torn upon arrival. Also, for some reason I was expecting two tubes for the price as the original box looks like it holds two. I haven't seen if they hold air yet but so far so good.
