Fragrance and quality.
Body wash is really good especially for winter season which makes skin moist. only thing is unlike bath soap this has more chemical composition and smell also little bit lower than the bath soap.

Been using Mysore Sandal soap all my life and I’m 67 years old . But the shower gel is amazing . It makes you feel so fresh, clean and smelling so good. What took you so long to develop this product ?

Worth every penny
Mysore sandal product is always good, good smell, stays with you for a long time.

Not what you (I) expected of Mysore Sandal. It was average.
Mysore sandal has been an epitome of quality, and the fragrance has been something that is epitome of sandalwood fragrance. It has been a brand that I grew up using. I have ordered this body wash with the feeling that this will leave the same fragrance like the bar soap would do, but to be honest. This was nowhere near the bar sandalwood fragrance. it’s not that the fragrance is bad, but it is not on par with the soap. I somehow felt that it has a Plastic like smell when I was using it, the smell stayed on for about one hour or so, unlike the bar, so which stay for at least two hours(During my childhood days, the same bar soap fragrance used to stay for almost 5 hours). so to sum it up, it was rather underwhelming, and I would suggest you could use once and decide whether to re-order it or not. For me, I’m not satisfied and I would not order it any time soon, but I would appreciate the brand’s attempt in keeping up with the modern day’s preferences, and coming up with Shower gel.

Scent is better in Mysore Sandal Soap.
Have been fan of Mysore Sandal Soap from childhood. I had switched to body wash for past few years when Mysore Sandal body wash was not available. Now after seeing it on Amazon, I ordered it. Though the packaging, thickness, lather were OK, I felt smell fell short of real sandalwood compared to the soap. Tube also can be replaced with a dispenser bottle as other brands of body wash for convenience. Mysore Sandal R&D has scope to improve the product as its price is quite high compared to other brands too. This is after a month of use - I transferred the contents to a liquid soap dispenser. The product tends to get thicker day by day. I guess that is the reason they have filled it in tube and not in a dispenser.

Smell very chemically name only Mysore sandel it doesn’t smell the same as the soap
