Fabulous continuation!
If you though Good Girl was fabulous then buckle up because the second story in the Wicked series, Bad Girl is so much more!!! Lawson truly knows how to build a story that captivates a reader and takes them on an emotional journey that will capture their hearts!!! Of age gap, rockstar romances are your thing then get ready to dive into this one!Haley is a fierce, smart, captivating heroine that has so much drive and passion you can’t help but feel for her. And the connection she has with Jax? Pure perfection!!! I love how they evolved over this story not just as a couple but also as individuals. I loved how both of them finally came to terms with their emotions and their relationship as it was such a beautiful and complex journey for both of them as they each worked to overcome their own obstacles. And the steam?!? Let’s just say things have definitely been kicked up a notch and the heat 8: definitely there and that Jax delivered in true rockstar fashion ;)I also loved how we finally get to see more of the dynamic between Haley and her father, Shannon Cross and watch all that unfold as well! Overall this book was utterly fabulous and so much more than a continuation of a rockstar romance and is a definite must read!!! Secrets are revealed, connections are made and hearts will be healed in this story so get ready for a doozy of a ride!

Awesome heroine!
I've fallen for fictional rock stars before, but Haley is my favorite heroine in a rock star romance. If you like strong and smart female characters, you're in for a treat. Haley has mettle and determination like I've rarely seen in a romance heroine. She lusts after Jax and falls in love with him, but he doesn't become her entire life. She doesn't lose sight of her goals and what's important to her. I'm usually all about the romance, but I was just as engrossed in the rest of Haley's life as I was in her interactions with Jax. Her life was just as interesting to me as his, and I've never experienced that before in a rock star romance. Her complicated feelings about her father were especially well written, as were his about her. The author did a phenomenal job of making him more sympathetic without really softening him. That's a skill! I also liked the juxtaposition of the two father/daughter relationships in the story. It drove so much of the conflict and drama, and I love that the story doesn't rely on jealousy or the typical misunderstandings for that. This book also intensified the sexy times between Jax and Haley, and it was worth the wait. Jax can be positively wicked, and it was hot!Once again, the narrators did an excellent job of voicing these characters. I love Joe Arden, and Savannah Peachwood was great too. Her male voices were perfectly done as well, and she made Jax sound sexy. I'm very excited to hear the final book. These have all ended at a natural break in the story that leaves me feeling satisfied with each one. It's a great series!

A few twist I didn't see coming.I continue to love and hate a few of the characters. I do wish that there was more about a few of the characters as well. Its a great continuation of the story. I can't wait to read the next one.

cliffhangers
I read Good Girl and Wicked Girl as my last 2 reads of 2023. I skipped Bad Girl because I was so annoyed at the cliffhanger in book 1, and I just wanted to get to the HEA. But I didn't get all the answers to some of the questions so this morning I bit the bullet and read this one.I'm rating all 3 books 3 stars, and that's simply due to the cliffhanger effect. These are relatively short books, 200ish pages, and while they would have made one very 'girthy' book if they'd all been combined, I would have been much happier as a reader. The characters are attractive (personality-wise and looks). Haley has some interesting quirks, but she and Jax have very strong chemistry. He's a rock star musician and while this is shelved as an age-gap romance in a lot of reviews, I don't actually find their 8 year difference all that shocking. She's dealing with growing up without knowing who her father was. Jax is dealing with some issues in his personal life that revolve around his immediate family. They come together, then they break up. Then they get back together, then they break up. So it's like the 3rd act breakup you expect, only you get it over and over again. The writing is Very Good. I'm just personally offended by the 3 book premise. And not only that, the "bonus epilogue" is a 4th book.Finished. Liked the characters and the story. Did not like the multi-book thing.

Still obsessed
Read this book the same day I finished the first. The drama and turns in this story are tantalising and feel me back over and over. The adult scenes are not too vivid but give just enough. Looking forward to the next story which j am reading right not!
