I have 4C hair and this is the best detangler I have ever tried. I used it when distributing the conditioner thru my hair and later when I apply leave in conditioner. I have no pain and the brush goes thru my hair with ease. My only negative would be is I wish the brush and handle were both a little larger.

The media could not be loaded. This is the best detangle brush EVER! I brushed my hair after washing in under I minute and nothing was in the brush! I call this a miracle brush!

Nice soft brush for little ones who have thick or curly heads. Works great with a detangling spray. Just don't forget to start at the ends!

Learned about this brush from a natural hair video, and as a person with 4c low-porosity hair, it WORKS LIKE A CHARM. I'm also extremely tender headed, and brushes like tangle-teezer or wet brush I've never had much luck with. I thought this brush was also fake at first because the holes on the inside are triangular instead of circular like in the picture, but it still works great. Even if the bristles especially on the bottom get bent over time, it still works very well in detangling my hair on the regular or on wash day.Just as with any brush, be gentle with it and brush both horizontally and vertically when detangling (and try to finger detangle first and handle smaller sections). I had the wash day of my dreams with this.

This is a horrible brush. It doesn’t detangle my hair at all and pulls on my hair. When I’m done brushing my hair there is hair inside the brush. Don’t buy this product it was a waste of my money. It’s also very expensive.

Trust me when I say that I have tried almost EVERY brush on the market. I spend much of my free time in beauty supply stores and have seen them all, bought them all and have been DISAPPOINTED by all. I was willing to sit through the pain of detangling curly hair because since I was little that was what I got used to. I looked at many brushes on Amazon and the peculiar design of this one called out to me. My husband has a finer strand of hair but still long and curly and I was on a mission to find something that would work for him, too. This brush... a miracle. No pain, pulling, snagging NOTHING. Its very lightweight and almost flimsy but don't let that deter you. THIS BRUSH IS AMAZING YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

Works great for thick, curly hair, but not as good for straight less ethnic hair.
