LastiSeal Brick & Masonry Sealer - All Purpose Brick, Concrete, Stone, & Masonry Sealer for Interior/Exterior Use - 15-Year Service Life (1-Gal)

This is good stuff, it sprays on very nice and covers well soaks in and drys fairly quick. No reason to put 2 coats on, the second coat just beads up and runs off. I Put it on old brickwork that I had to do tuck pointing on. It sealed the new mortar and old brick with no issues. I put it on with the temp just at the low end 50*and it still dried pretty fast under 30 min. The old brick really sucked up the sealer so I only covered about 30 sq ft in 1/2 gallon. It is a bit more expensive than other sealers but if it lasts as long as it advertises then it’s well worth the cost, I will buy more in the spring when I redo the rest of the brick on the house

Product is easy to use, but wear old clothes when applying. Sealed chimney and stopped leak.... I think!

I used this product back in 2018 when my house was built and today in 2024 my concrete sidewalks look like the day they were poured. All of my neighbors: crumbling, dirty, falling apart, and pitted. I went ahead and bought another gallon and coated all of my wood under my porches and even my unfinished basement. Not having to worry for 15 years is an incredible feature even counteracting the slightly higher price of this product.

I have applied LastiSeal to my concrete patio and I am very happy with the result: The surface is very easy to wash, water beads on it, and so far, no dirty spots. I would give it a 5-star (*****) rating but that would be premature since I only applied it about 3 weeks ago. I feel LastiSeal is well worth the price - in fact, the price is very reasonable. Having said that, there are better sealers such as the Sodium/Lithium Silicate based solutions described at www.concretesealersreviews.com . However, these sealers are much more expensive (a LOT more expensive - by a factor of 3-4). I chose LastiSeal because it's the second best, and I feel it gives me the most bang for the buck (10 year warranty vs. life-long warranty for the Sodium/Lithium Silicate stuff).

Sprayed my brick chimney with this and now I don't get a nasty musty smell in my living room anymore.

Easy to apply. Little pricey. Warranty said 15 years. Hope that's true.

I needed a product to seal, harden, and prime the flaking and dusty rotted chimney brick in my basement. I wasn’t able to find any other products designed to do this. Product worked like a charm. Painted over with the appropriate type of paint (see product instructions.) It isn’t cheap, and you’ll probably need more of it than you think, but I was thrilled with the results.

This was a last resort effort before spending a few thousand for a complete chimney rebuild from roof line up. We had a professional chimney and masonry company do an inspection and water test on our chimney and discovered the chimney itself was leaking. It leaked through the grout and bricks and visible in our attic where the chimney goes down and into our living room. The chimney itself was built 1959 and unfortunately didn’t have any maintenance over the years. We bought the house that needed a new roof, had a new roof done and had leaking around the flashing/chimney after, so the wonderful roofing company repaired 3x thinking the flashing was the issue. However, we realized it may be the chimney itself leaking. It was! So, thousands of dollars to repair or try this temporary fix to seal and buy us time to repair when we absolutely had to. Easy to apply, we chose to brush on with a paint brush, not spray. Heavily applied in 50 degree weather (WA State) and after a heavy rain this product did make a big difference and actually sealed, just not 100%. Obviously you don’t want ANY water in your house/attic so we moved forward on the repair. Had this helped 100% we would of waited. So this product does work…to an extent, it all depends on your condition of the situation. I provided BEFORE pics of the chimney we placed the product on and of the inside where the leak is present. We cleaned all the moss off before applying product.
