Love this Whedon Aerator w/Levor Control!
I've used an old rubber spray/aerator on my faucet for years. When it got pretty awful looking after a couple of years, it took some looking around to find another--unfortunately it wasn't as well built as our old one and broke in the first week. Luckily we still had the old, yucky one to replace the "new" one. I looked around for quite a while and couldn't find a rubber one that was as well made as our old one. I saw products in the stores that looked similar to the Whedon, but they were cheaply made and plastic. Our old rubber one was starting to fall apart and I got desperate and started looking at all the aerators and reading all the reviews--I needed one badly! I found this Whedon with the levor control and saw that it was made in the USA with quality products and got good reviews. I was a bit hesitant since it seemed a bit pricey (compared to the $3-4 ones in the stores), but if it was as good as claimed, I figured I'd give it a shot. I can't tell you how pleased I am with this product! I've used it for the last 4 months and I love the way it feels--so solid; swivels nicely to reach all corners of the sink; easily changes from stream to spray; and being able to turn the water off and on with a simple flick of the lever while doing dishes or cleaning fruit and veg is a joy. Of course you don't use the lever as the primary on/off switch for the faucet full-time...just use it while doing cleaning tasks to temporarily stop the water--saves wear & tear on the faucet handle. I don't have a dishwasher, so in addition to my gel-mat, this aerator makes doing dishes less of a chore. So far I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality and functionality of this product and would recommend it (keeping in mind that my kitchen faucet is one of the higher gooseneck faucets--if your faucet is close to the sink, know that the unit will hang down about 1 1/2" or so.)

Excellent choice, especially if you lack a kitchen sprayer hose
I bought this aerator about one year ago, after moving into an apartment that lacked a separate kitchen sink sprayer. I first tried a similar swiveling spray aerator from a local store, but I quickly returned it when its mostly plastic construction worked poorly (and would probably break in little time, anyway). This aerator is much better. The mostly metal construction -- particularly the swivel joint -- operates smoothly, and it has shown no sign of wearing out after a year of daily use and rotation. For the specific features:- The swiveling function works great for sweeping food waste into the garbage disposal.- The lever is very useful during washing and rinsing of dishes. You can quickly drop the flow of water to a trickle, and then go back to the full stream of water, without having to readjust the hot and cold knobs.- The spray function is available if you need it, although I do not use it much. The ring that you pull down is rather stiff, and you have to use two hands. The positive side is that you are not going to switch between the stream and spray modes inadvertently.Overall, I highly recommend this aerator to anyone who has a kitchen sink without a separate sprayer hose.

Doesn't completely shut-off
My problem with this is the shut-off does not shut-off.Aside from that, it was easy to install, and easy to use. It appears to be of good quality. It does not cover my entire sink. Why am I sill using it? I like the aerator. The aerator on this is far better than the original on the Delta faucet. Even though it does not shut-off completely, it still reduces the water pressure, which is good.I guess the game-plan now is to continue using this until I can find a suitable replacement that actually covers the entire sink.

Outstanding!
Such a small gadget for such a big solution! This is pure genius and I would induct it into the hardware hall of fame, if there were one. This was so easy to install and works brilliantly. Reviewers are right, if you're not careful, you will get sprayed but it's pretty easy to avoid this once you see how it works. What is so terrific, is the mini-lever that gives additional spray control (in addition to the regular sink faucet knob). For anyone moving into a low pressure apartment, home or living situation, this is a game changer. Highly recommend. It is durable and affordable. I wish this company made shower head adapters!

A Good Sink Addition
I have only just installed, but the spray adapter seems like it was well constructed. This model will lock in either the spray or stream position so it will be in the same mode the next time you turn the water on, unlike other models that constantly default to the stream every time you turn the water off. The spray on other models can have too much pressure and just end up splattering water everywhere when it hits a dish; not so with this model. The spray setting has plenty of water to do the job, but is not so high pressured that it just makes a mess. The swivel is also convenient for directing the spray around the sink. It hangs about 1 3/4" below where the stock faucet aerator would be and is not overly obtrusive. After using other models of kitchen sink faucet adapters, I can say that this is the best I've used so far.

Well designed, works great
I had doubts about this faucet head because the packaging looks cheesy and I thought it was priced too low to be good. However, once installed, it looks fine and works wonderfully. The aerator saves water while giving the coverage and feel of a much larger quantity of water. The levor control is simple and intuitive to use, and was designed so that you can pretty easily calibrate how much flow you want. The ability to adjust the flow from spray to stream to shower is a little harder to operate, but is still quite simple to use.We have an old plumbing system that makes it almost impossible to get the right temperature without turning the water on full blast. With this faucet head, we still turn the water on full blast, but we can adjust the flow of water that actually comes out via the levor control. Makes washing the dishes much nicer.
