Easy to spread & NOT sticky. One of my favorite discoveries.
I previously used lansinoh lanolin nipple cream and will be comparing the two in this review. The lanolin cream did a good job of keeping my nips from becoming dry and peely. However that was not easy to spread and with raw, irritated nipples.. yeah not fun. It is slightly tacky as well and would make my bra stick to my nipples. Doesn't sound like a big deal but when you're feeling sensitive it's uncomfortable to pull it off. I'd also get oil stains on my bras but this is actually not a big deal since I can washed out. I'd just prefer that didn't happen. Now onto Nipple Crack pros: Everything negative I've mentioned from the lanolin product is the opposite with this. Spreadability is great and doesn't cause extra discomfort when you apply to your nipples. No sticking to my bras and no oil stains! There is a slightly hard top layer you have to get through but once you do it's this beautiful, creamy consistency in a buttery balm sort of way. My newborn had no problems with either product. An extra positive that I enjoy every time I open the jar is the smell. I think it's the beeswax or calendula.. either way it smells HEAVENLY. I find I like to also apply this to my lips or dry parts on my face or body. This goes without saying but I'll say it for review sake: This will prevent your nipples from peeling and getting dry. Last thing I like is the name. How do you not love that name?? My mom always looks at me weird when I say I need my nipple crack and then laughs when she realizes what I'm talking about. A great product plus laughs- Do I need to say more? Yes I do. Some "cons": Even though I really like this product I do still have some criticisms albeit mild ones. You are not getting your value's worth when you compare unit prices. $7.19 per oz VS Lansinoh's $6.43/ oz. You do get more product in this but with the price you're actually paying more for that product. For people who prefer vegan products this is not for you. I mentioned it earlier- this contains beeswax. Overview: I like this product and would recommend it. I will mention I don't use this as often anymore since my nipples seems to have adjusted to breastfeeding. I don't get dry or have peeling anymore but I do get occasional sensitivity. In those instances I will apply this and it helps prevent more irritation. I'm the tiniest bit disappointed this isn't vegan however I do believe having the beeswax in this is better. Bee products are naturally anti-bacterial/anti-microbial and I'd like to think it helps baby fight off any infections alongside my milk. I know for sure is I won't be going back to the lanolin cream as long as I can get this.

Amazing results
I recently began using this Organic Nipple Cream, and it has been a lifesaver during my breastfeeding experience! Here is why I strongly recommend it: Natural ingredients, free of chemicals, scents, and preservatives make this cream completely organic and safe. I feel confident using it because I know it's safe for my baby. Soothing and moisturizing - Provides immediate treatment for chapped nipples. The rich and creamy texture absorbs quickly without feeling oily. No need to wipe off - Because it's created with edible substances, I don't need to wash it off before nursing, which is quite convenient. Multi-Purpose: Not just for nipples! I've also used it on dry lips, hands, and even as a diaper balm for my kid.

An ointment that does it all!
I bought this when I was pregnant to have a multipurpose use. It has clean ingredients and gentle on a babies skin. I used it for nipples and baby rashes. Sometimes I used it for healing excema patches. Its been a year of use and I’m only half way through the little container. I love how the side of the container is easy to just grab on the go. It will fit in any bag. I would buy again if I had another baby!

Loved the previous formula, new stuff is not as good.
Update: They changed their formula. I both breastfeed and pump. My nipples have definitely been a bit abused at this point and I need an amazing nipple cream for relief. I thought I had found the solution. I have purchase 3 jars of the old formula (clear jar black label) and 1 of the new formula (white jar white label) which I have used 2 times now. I love the old formula and am sad I need to search for something different now. The new formula is thinner. Applies thinner on your nipple, does not feel quite as hydrating. And it leaves a sheen on your skin. The scent of the new formula is sweeter, I don’t hate their new smell. With the extra (from the old formula) that was left on my fingers from applying to my nipples I’d rub it into dry spots on my hands and it was amazing super hydrating and healing on both my nipples and hands. With the new formula I have noticed how thin it is and feels like less of a barrier on both my nipples and my hands. Not the thick healing amazing cream that it was. Bummer. The new formula is ok but not quite as good. I hope enough people let them know that the previous formula was better. Leaving my old review below so you can see my love for the previous formula. Love this. One jar down and I ordered 2 more. I tried a different brand (earth mama) and didn’t like the smell (super herbal, in not a good way) this one - Nipple Crack is much better smelling. That is It doesn’t have much of a smell. Excellent ingredients and as I have started to become a little raw on one nipple this gives immediate relief. I highly recommend this.

Breastfeeding moms *MUST* try!
Listen, I NEVER write reviews. But I bought this balm exactly a year ago and I specifically came back to write one because that is how good it is. I am breastfeeding my 1 year old and have been her whole life, we just went through the most unbearable bout of thrush that I’ve ever experienced, and to say my nipples were RAW is an understatement. I am not kidding you, this cream started to healed them in 8 hours, and by 24 hours they were brand. new. This is not the first time I’ve experienced this either, I’ve had more mild issues and this stuff cured me within hours. Simply not enough good things to say about this product. I would buy it if it were triple the price. Pregnant/breastfeeding mamas, you MUST try this.
