Best cat toy ever.

I foster for a cat rescue. I've had hundreds of foster cats go through here in the past 10 years. And rattle mice (along with bell balls, springs, and catnip mice) are one of the standard toys that nearly everyone seems to love. I've tried different brands, and Zanies are, hands down, the best of the bunch. They're fairly durable for this sort of toy, and the rattle is good and strong. Are they durable enough to last years? No, of course they're not. And they do color water if they land in a water bowl. (No cat yet has been harmed by drinking the colored water, as far as I know.) But all in all, this is the top of the heap for this type of toy.

These mice are the best!! My 2 year old cat and my 10 year cat LOVE these. It is hard to find a furry mouse with a rattle. These are perfect. My younger cat bats these around all day. She has removed the fur coat off of a few of these and the plastic body underneath securely encases the rattle. Great purchase...well worth the money and the fact that you get 20 mice is great. Somehow my cat loses or hides all of these in the timespan of a year. We are still finding these mice under the stove and washer/dryer.

My two kittens love these little rattle mice. They play with them all the time and we even use them for fetch. They are durable and withstand repeated dunking in the water dish. One cat does like to work to pull the tails off though. I can’t have enough of these mice in the house as they are the favorite toy for the cats to hide in a secret spot that I have not yet found.

My cats love these mice. Even more when I roll them in CATNIP !!! I do advise that the mice tails be cut off. Because iv'e seen my cats try to chew the tails off. Not good.

Overall these mice are great. Pros: They rattle, they are covered in soft fur and have the leathery tails cats like to eat off. Price is great at ~$0.60 each they are much cheaper then at the local pet store. I typically see these same mice for $1 or $2 at the petstore. Cons: Extremely bright colors, I am slightly worried about the dyes they use. A few did not rattle, it seems the quality control on the substance used to make the rattling noise is hit and miss. A few were empty, a few had only a few pieces, but most were filled well. I am happy with my purchase.

These are perfect! My cat goes crazy for these rattle mice but she tends to go through them pretty quickly. I live overseas and the pet stores are not reliable with good quality stuff and often are even out of stock for months. These will fit in my suitcase easily and will provide my kitty with 2 per month until I come back to the states to reload. (she tends to tear through these pretty quickly so I love the package deal!)
