Premium Organic Yerba Mate (Smoke Free, Pure Leaf) 4 x 500g (1.1 lbs)

I have been a yerba mate' drinker for over 20 years. I simply don't start my day without it, and I definitely don't travel without my tin of yerba mate' and my little electric teapot. Itapua yerba mate' is an excellent replacement for the mate' I drank for so long, that is no longer available in the bulk quantities that I prefer to order. It has a smooth flavor even when I make it good and strong. And I can buy it by the 5-pound bag, which means I don't have to order/buy so often.

This is some of the best mate I've tried. Very pleased with packaging and the cut and consistency of the leaf, as well as the two dessicant packets. Will definitely be supporting them directly going forward! I also appreciated the coupon for the website orders that was included!

The herb is good, it doesn't have a lot of "dust", but the flavor is also not super strong. I enjoy Mate, but I couldn't drink this Mate everyday, I got bored of it quickly. It's really tough to find good Mate in the US. It's of great quality, but a bit flavorless. I'm used to the Mate you find in Argentina, where it has a little more "dust", flavorful and at the same time not too bitter. This one has a good amount of bitterness but not enough flavor.

I throw 1 tbsp. of coffee in 10-15 tbsp. mate' and some pomegranate syrup (no sugar added) for sweetener kicks ass ps. don't add super hot water as it kills nutrition. about comfy drinking temp

Love the quality of the Yerba Mate and it is in a large package that is sealable so freshness is not compromised. I use Mate every morning and the flavor quality is rich and full. It is unsmoked (my preference) and truly a credit to the industry! Thank you.

I have been getting Ecotea by Yerba Mate, which is excellent tea also. Wanted to try something else so I chose Itapua Premium. It is also excellent tea and I usually drink 3 - 5 cups a day. Itapua does take a little longer to steep, is a bit lighter than Ecotea, but the taste is still great and it does not leave all the tea powder at the bottom of the glass like the Ecotea does. Just a minor thing. It also costs about $10 less than the Ecotea. If you don't mind a little longer wait for some good tasting tea, than I recommend this tea.

La calidad es excelente, es orgánica, no tiene polvo, nunca se tapa la bombilla, el envase mejorado, lo hace muy practico de conservar y utilizar. Por supuesto que hay diferentes sabores en las diferentes marcas, pero en lineas generales esta es la mejor.

OK so interesting to be asked about sheerness for tea. I don’t know how to describe sheerness, so address that. I find that this particular brand of your mate is very flavorless. I have to use 4 to 5 large scoops to even get some flavor. I use a French press. I thought this would be great as it is organic and the other reviews were mostly positive. Ahem, I have noticed also that Amazon will not allow my review to be posted if it is negative. That’s sad, censorship in review. Anyway, I drink a full pot of your mate daily and will not buy this brand again.
