MPC 1957 Chevy Bel Air Spirit of 57" 1:25 Scale Model Kit

Nice model and easy to assemble

Worked for my project. Glued hood to body and didn’t need anything but body and windows so not sure how the rest would be to build but seems pretty straightforward. I went with copper patina to match my all copper micro rock crawlers. Still many details left. The kit seems well made do have to file to make parts fit tight but it’s simple.

This was the nicest kit I have put together. Everything was happy to go together nothing was wrong. I really enjoyed this kit

I am missing Chrome part 124 how can I get one other than that the model is great

The only problem was a cracked rear light and the radiator support was missing. This was do to poor quality control from the maker not the sellers fault. That being said I painted cars for a living for 30 years but I never got to paint a candy apple so I put coarse metallic whith a red candy and a k2 clear on it. This was a fun build.

I'm in the process of building this one right now and when you do them up right, they look like the real thing!

I’m a real fan of the 57 Chevy. I have a collection of them. I’m definitely not an experienced model builder, but this one turned out so nice it’s in my display case. The white in my opinion actually looks good especially with the decals I added. If you like the 57 Chevy and you like gassers, this model will make you very happy.
