Top of the line versatile three season bag
This is a fantastic lightweight sleeping bag that packs really well and provides reasonably good protection from the elements for a sleeping bag. This is an ideal bag for 3 season backpacking trips in moderately temperate weather, and is all you ever would need for sleeping indoors anytime of the year. I have yet to field test it over the course of months, but it seems like it will hold up provided it's used properly. This bag offers a great deal of versatility. The water and wind resistant outer layer plus the mosquito net make this thing almost like a bivy sack, in that it could be used standalone in an emergency. If the ambient temperature is too hot, it's rectangular shape allows it to be zipped out into a blanket you can lay on top of. Actually being inside the bag in above 75 degree weather would likely be a bit too warm if you run a bit hot as I do. But in this case any sort of sleeping bag wouldn't be ideal and you would be better off in a hammock or a simple bivy sack with no insulation. I still plan on taking this to tropical Colombia with me in a few weeks, the super nice pack size still makes it worth lugging and it will at least be useful for beach camping. The mosquito netting is a nice bonus feature. It isn't ideal as any netting that rests on your face would be. It could use a tie out so you can tie it up to a tree or a stick and have it suspended above your face. I may be able to rig such a system with some paracord threaded to the zippers just to give the net some upward tension. Without the tie out or a better way to apply tension to the net, I'm not going to detract a star form the bag as it is truly a nice bonus feature. Also my paracord through the zipper idea may work, where there's a will there's a way.Comfort wise I really like it as it feels soft on the inside yet not sticky. First night I got it I got in to see what it was like and ended up taking a little nap so it's definitely comfy. In indoor ambient temps I didn't sweat, although I also didn't use the netting aspect. Definitely plan on taking this on any trip where I may be couch surfing, as it can just as easily become a blanket too.All in all this is a fantastic top level item for anyone looking for a three season bag. It may be a bit too warm for the jungle, but if you were truly in a tropical climate you wouldn't be bringing a sleeping bag in lieu of a hammock or bivy. I can see this being great for nights in the desert, and would even use it for summer camping in the northeast.

Perfect for summer, spring, and fall weather camp outs
I absolutely love how light weight this bag is. It takes up hardly any valuable real estate in my backpack. I didn't really get cold at night as long as the temperatures were above 45ish degrees. I also really like the mosquito netting concept.

Great kit for South Florida
I didn't get around to actually using this bag until almost a year after I purchased it. I just used it a couple of days ago in it's full capacity (meaning I even zipped up the face bug screen cover) and it was exactly as it needed to be. It is late fall here in South Florida and kept me warm as I needed for the evening. The only complaints, if I could even call them that, are the left hand zipper (because I am right handed) and the space between my face and the bug screen. I wish there was some way to keep the bug screen off my face but the silver lining is that I am a side sleeper. I was able to make some space when I was lying on my side but when on my back it basically laid right on my face. Other than that it is really a great piece of kit that weighs next to nothing and packs down to the same. I would recommend this, most certainly, for anyone that wants to hike and camp in any of the South Florida area and have a truly restful night without the bugs and bug spray.

GREAT Bag, Wish It Was Better For Cold Weather
Great to have! Not sure how cold it will be good for, but it's a good design idea-wise for a few reasons:First off, there's the mosquito net. This is an excellent idea, because if you're trying to get some sleep, the bugs can be a major problem (they don't show that in any of the Rambo-type movies). It unzips, but doesn't zip off all the way- there's a little tab where it stays connected. Don't know if this is better than it zipping off completely, but it's not a bad thing on its own (if it got a hole, it would be hard to repair- maybe mosquito netting taped or glued on over the hole?).Then there's the zippers on the bottom AND side of the bag. There's a lot of benefit in this type of design. For one, you can unzip it & fold it around yourself like a blanket (which lets you jump right out of it if you're sleeping with your feet sticking out or to wear it over yourself kind of like a cloak). For another, you can unzip the bottom zipper & slide it over a hammock like a sleeve so it doesn't get crushed-down by your weight (it's all outside over everything, kind of capped-over). Usually, you'd need to put a stick or a pen through the teeth of the zipper on the bottom & open it up to do that- then you'd probably have to pull that section apart with your hands after you unzip everything to get it to zip-up right again (because it might leave that section closed whereas the longer part is open). There's a corner that isn't zipped when everything is fully zipped-up, but it's kind of blocked by a flap & it's very small (a knotted sock would actually be pretty hard to thread through it, but it's an option).Packs down very small (smaller than a football, no matter which kind that means to you). It's actually about the size of a hero sandwich, to give you an idea. MIGHT be able to put it in an outside pocket of an ALICE pack or in one of those water bottle carriers or even rolled into a shemagh/kerchief that's tied around the waist.Seems fairly durable & water-repellent, but a bivy can always be used. Actually, one of those SOL bivies that are like a space blanket slipped over the bag might make it good in very cold weather (meaning "cold enough to snow & below"). I'd like if it was better for that kind of weather on its own, but it's good as is & those SOL bivies aren't too big (actually, they can fit in a large coat pocket like the black garbage bags that people carry for makeshift always-have-it rain gear).

Sleeping bag
Went camping during early September. Very good sleeping bag for the price.I prefer a wider sleeping bag though as I feel claustrophobic. Personal choice.Otherwise great buy!
