Does the plumeria fragrance better than the lotion made by bath and body works? is anyone able to tell me? thank you!

Ab-so-lute-ly! The products from this shop are awesome. I haven’t tried anything of theirs that I did not like. I fell in love with these products while in Kauai on my honeymoon (2005). I’m so happy that I can get them through Amazon now, as the shipping costs when buying from them directly could get a little high. There is no comparison between Island Soap & Candle Works and the stuff Bath & Bodyworks sells—not to mention the difference in ingredients used and production of products. This company really cares about keeping the beautiful paradise they are located in pristine. Everything I’ve ever tried from Bath & Bodyworks smells synthetic—and not at all natural. This company actually makes the products they sell in their workshop on Kauai, and are very environmentally conscious. Can’t help but add: if you are interested in all-natural, non-toxic nail polish, check out Kapa Nui, another Hawaiian-based company that has awesome—safe—and “green”, products. They are also now available on Amazon.

Is this coconut scented?

You can definitely smell the coconut. I absolutely love it I've bought it three times already. For me it doesn't help with dry skin but I put lotion with no scent on and then the coconut lotion on top of it and it keeps my skin nice you can also try the mango one that's also smells delicious. Hope this helps.

Are these lotions suitable for vegetarians/vegan?

Hi there, if you read the ingredients, which you can before you order it,its all plants and organic. I don't know what specifics you need for being suitable for vegans. I will tell you it feels great on the skin and the fragrance is "tropical"

Is this lotion supposed to be thin and watery?

No it is not. I received one that was brought directly from Hawaii and I loved it so much that I ordered one on the internet when it was gone. The one from the internet was watery and thin and hardly had any smell. I think it had been watered down or was an old product.

Wonderful heady tropical scents!

I love the scents in this sample pack! They are beautiful, luscious, and make me want to be in Hawaii. The lotion is a lovely light moisturizer. I will be ordering full sized bottles next!

Shine

My skin is really dry and mostly I wouldn't bother with a lotion vs a butter. This mango lotion smells great and hydrates for quite awhile. When I pair this lotion with my all natural (nut and seed) body butter I get a really good non-greasy shine to my skin. It looks younger and healthy again. I have tried different scents in this brand and I feel mango is the best for skin quality followed by creamy coconut. Also this brand is scented pretty well in some varieties. Mango scent isn't the lightest scented but no where near the flower scent. I think it's a good product so I paid the 18? or so dollars for it.

nice but pricey

This has a pleasant scent & is made in the USA of mostly (but not exclusively) natural ingredients. It is thinner than most lotions, which may be a plus or a minus for you. It does "sink in" pretty fast and seems to work like most any lotion will. I have normal average skin, not super dry or sensitive. While I like the lotion, it is only average or OK and the high price does not justify purchasing it again. You can spend less and get a lotion that works just as well & comparable ingredients, so the only real reason to buy this would be that you love the scent enough to pay a premium price for it.

A lovely gift for a special friend.

I have a lot of allergies to cosmetic items and these have never given me trouble. Also they just smell heavenly. I've tried most of the scents at one time or another and like them all, but my favorites are the jasmine and the plumeria. They are not heavy and the scent is subtle.

Smells SO good but…

Smells realllly good however the scent does not last long at all.. maybe a few hours tops. Not worth the $20 in my opinion. Will be returning.
