This mug would get five stars if it were cheaper. The reason I splurged and spent the extra money for this mug in particular was because of it's size. It is 4.6 inches in diameter. And seeing how my 64 ounce Klean Kanteen is 4.5 inches in diameter, my Klean Kanteen fits perfectly into this mug just like the army canteen/nesting cup designs. It is extremely light weight and will last a good long time. i can tell that just by holding it. But even still, it seems Vargo could come down a little bit on the price. This is, however, the perfect completion to my hydration/cooking system.I carry the 12 X 5 Maxpedition pack, my 64 ounce Klean Kanteen, and this Vargo mug all in the same system. This gives me a lot of water and a lot of versatility and options for a very low weight cost. I'm happy with the purchase, but unless you specifically need a mug of this size for something very specific (like I did) then I would suggest going with a less expensive make.

Well made, if a bit pricey. I very reluctantly (due to price) bought it because it was the only pot I could find that would nestle between a 64oz Klean Kanteen water bottle and a Maxpedition 12" bottle holder. It's pretty snug, but at least it works where nothing else would. This would've been a five star review at a lower cost. I spent $60.43 for an item that ought to have run about $40.

Weight is for pot only. Add 1 oz. for the lid. Also the pot had a dent in the base when received.

I own several different sizes and brands of ultralight titanium cups/pots for hiking. This beats several of the other top manufactures in quality. Imagine that , a lid that fits snug. Great piece of kit.

So, this pot showed up covered in splotches, all over the outside, and the only time i've ever seen anything like that was on a pot that had already been used... pretty unfortunate.
