Very good but one with two handles probably easier to handle

Super quick delivery. Well packaged. Exactly what I was looking for. It's probably a little smaller than I would've liked but it will be fine. A nice heavy bakestone for me to make Welsh Cakes!

I've given the heading & 4 stars for the following reasonsFirstly i should say it is a very good casting , without any flaws nor pitting , but could have stood a bit of fettling to remove keen edges particularly around the handle . Why not 5 stars ? A traditional Welsh bakestone is much bigger & thicker , around 14 inches round plus handle with a thickness of 3/8 inch. This allows the bakestone to retain a constant heat whilst using a low flame , thereby making the Welshcake to fully cook without burning the surface . I was fully aware of the size when I bought it . I bought it because my 14 yr old grandson is showing g a lot of interest in cooking & Welshcakes being a thing he wants to do , this is a good starter for him at a low enough price 5hat he can use for other griddle cooking purposes if the Welshcake thing drops out of interest . If he is still interested in later years my wife will pass her traditional one to him when she no longer is able to use it , not too soon though because she makes them so tasty

bought this item for making welsh cakes (bake stones) which i like when sliced and spread with jam.delighted when my first batch came out perfect, now i'm off to make some more.

Got this for my son to cook on and he loves making welsh cakes and flat breads on it. It is a good quality bake iron
