Russell Athletic Men's Dri-Power Color Block Short with Back Inserts

I am a big guy who buys pretty much all my leisure clothes from Amazon. The day I bought these I also bought 5 other brands and cuts thought they were all relatively the same - long legged casual shorts. These are without a doubt my favorite. The large waistband is a huge plus as is the feel of the fabric. They slipped on no problem and felt like I have owned them for years. I give them a 5 although i should note that if you want to keep the drawstring you better tie it off right away. The first wash and that thing came out. I thought the sewed them all in these days, but that is not the case with these. The price was great and the product is 2 thumbs up. Do not hesitate - no disappointments here.

These shorts are perfect fro an all around workout short. I bought them for working out and a relaxing pair of everyday wear shorts. They fit just above the knee, so they don't impede lower body lifts and more dynamic workouts involving a lot of leg movements. Very easy to jog in them as well. Also not too short to be uncomfortable wearing them in everyday situations. Pockets are great and the material does a great job wicking moisture but not getting "heavy" during long periods of exercise.

They are shorts. They do the job. Nothing more to add. Was looking for something functional. These sufficed. I do think they could have a 'tighter' cut to be more snug around the knees. Nothing concerning though. Buy these if you need shorts with pockets.

Unfortunately, I am preparing to return these 2 orders of shorts because what I saw in this picture of product is not what I got. There were white stripes down the side and patch of white in the seat area. None of that shows here. I wanted all black with only the insigna, as shown, on the side. But that is not what I got. Otherwise, shorts would probably be fine for someone who didn't mind. Suggestion here is that what you see in the advertisement is exactly what you should get. And if an up-close, 360-degree view, is available to prospective buyer, provide by all means.

I use these shorts for exercise. They're light weight and comfortable, and the inserts help them breathe nicely. They wick sweat really well, which is important in this central Florida heat. I wear an XL but like my work out gear loose, so I got 2X. The fit is as expected. They're well made and I expect a lot of use from these great priced shorts.

For the price, these are the best you can get in my opinion. The material feels solid and durable, and the fit is spot on. They aren't ugly, shiny or flimsy-feeling, like basketball shorts. Also, the pockets don't pull out easily like a lot of athletic shorts.I bought one pair and, after trying them on, I immediately bought a second. I highly recommend them.

A little too much drawstring but this is a nice pair of shorts made with wicking material and includes pockets, which were my main criteria (wicking and pockets).

They feel good and they fit good, but these shorts are smaller than what I was expecting, they come down to the knee and not below.
