What Is Given from the Heart Hardcover – Picture Book, January 8, 2019

What a heartfelt and inspiring story. With lovely illustrations. My young children and I enjoy this book. We first borrowed it from the library, and after the first time through, I decided I must have it for our family library.

I read this with my 4 year old daughter (I think the age range could go from about 3-7). We loved the illustrations and the story, which help celebrate empathy and diversity. Despite a series of very hard setbacks, the little boy and his mother manage to use their limited resources to help another family going through a hard time.

A moving and heartwarming story to read to your children again and again! Wonderful message of love, helping our neighbors in need, and true selflessness. Have a tissue handy.

Powerful, Positive, Inspirational and a well illustrated book

Relevant story for today’s youth and the sketches were fantastic! I know the artist April Fleming and she is a highly regarded artist.

Beautiful story with wonderful illustrations. Bought to add to my Valentines Day books, but will be leaving it out all year round.

Loved the representation. I purchased this for my granddaughter.

This book teaches a great lesson. You feel the love that comes from the story. I love reading it. Greatly Recommended
