Numark Mixtrack Quad Four Deck USB DJ Controller with Integrated Audio Interface and Trigger Pads

So I guess as a little disclaimer here, I will state that this is the only controller I've ever owned. However, with that being said, I absolutely love it! I use Algoriddim Djay Pro on a Mac, and there was no extra setup. I plugged it in and it worked. The multi-function pads are super easy to use, and allow you to do a lot of things with a very small controller. The mic input on the side is nice. It would be helpful to have some more external inputs, but that's just not to be expected in this price range. The only issue I've had is that sometimes the platter isn't receptive to touch. I've heard that this can be due to static from carpet, and that is most likely the case, since I've only experienced this in my carpeted basement. Overall a very solid controller. Great for a beginner, and I would say even for more intermediate level DJs.

Decided after many years of pondering that i will buy a dj controller. I was torn between the mixtrack pro 2 or this. I am VERY much a beginner at the whole thing. I have to say I'm very glad i got this instead of the mixtrack pro 2 for these reasons.1) Everything is backlit on this one. The color coding on the pads make it very easy to know what you're doing without even looking at the computer screen. Pads aren't color coded on the mixtrack pro 22) Serato DJ intro (which i think is more user-friendly than the included virtual DJ LE - but that's just a preference) now supports this controller with all four channels. Switching between four deck control and 2 deck control is as easy as one click on the software. Set up was very easy . Took me about 10 mins from unboxing to playing tunes. Serato DJ intro is a free download from the Serato site.3) I'm hoping once my DJ skills improve I'll be able to use the other extra channels to remix songs and make mashups. In a way this controller is future proof.Paired with Serato DJ intro this controller has provided lots of fun for me. I got the hang of all the controls in about 45 minutes and now i'm just working on improving my mixing and scratching skills (yes you can deff scratch on this controller, although i'm not that great on it, yet :P). If you're thinking of getting this or the Mixtrack Pro 2 get this instead. 2 extra channels and the backlit make for a much better DJ Deck.

Awesome controller and great for beginner DJ's as well as intermediates. THE LIGHTS ARE SEXY! I would give it 5 stars but I couldn't get the slip function to work for me in Virtual DJ. I wish it had gain knobs, but you can still get the volume you want by adjusting the channel faders and master gain. This controller will get you spinning in minutes and the LED's make it super easy to learn how to work with 4 decks. For those of you thinking of getting the Mixtrack pro 2 or this, get this. If you're new to DJing and want a controller, I would advise this over some of the cheaper models: This controller will help you learn how to DJ and provide you with tools to be able to do some expert sounding stuff, you get the point. NUMARK MIXTRACK QUAD... gets the job done.

The mixer is dope and does everything I want it to. Has filer nobs and FX, sample pads. Cross fader is super smooth and the sound and control is top notch. The reason for 3 stars is because you have to purchase the software in addition to this which sucks and should be stated it's another $100 on top of the mixer. Wish the software would come with it

For anyone who is inquiring about starting a DJ career and need a starting point, I will suggest that this is it!! It's super lightweight, very easy to set up, and the learning curve is AMAZING!! It comes with Virtual DJ 7 which, regardless of what others say, is perfect to learn how to operate DJ software and a great stepping stone to the world of Djing! I purchased this item a week before Christmas and have been practicing at least an hour a day ( kinda hard to practice working 2nd shift...) and i'm already making mash up mixes getting a DJ demo cd together for local bars owners!! I couldn't recommend a better DJ controller for the many options and features for your money!

Pretty good controller. Sometimes have to unplug and plug back in as the display freezes. The nobs for the effects could be better. I personally would recommend the Pioneer DDJ-SB or SB2 for the same price unless you really need 4 tracks. Overall I am pleased with the Mixtrack Quad and I enjoy creating mixes on it.

Fast Ship. DJ Controller is nice. Only downfall is the Virtual DJ Software sometimes freezes up.

Me ha sorprendido gratamente,envio rapidísimo del producto y la mesa es increíble,no la he usado mucho pero es perfecta para alguien que quiera dar un paso mas después de principiante,el sonido que da es espectacular los pads van a la perfeccion y la ayuda de todas las luces son muy intuitivas,la única pega que le puedo sacar es que no tiene control de ganancia pero creo que se puede mapear alguno de los filtros y dárselo a la ganancia.No le puedes conectar platos ni cd externo,pero con los 4 cortes que lleva tienes mas que de sobra.Sin duda muy recomendable

4 Sterne weil ich den Filter Knopf etwas blöd finde da man nur in gewissen schritten nach oben oder nach unten faden kann das macht einen schönen hpf oder lpf nicht richtig möglich. Ansonsten sehr tolles pult würde ich jedem weiterempfehlen hält jetzt schon mehr als 1 1/2 jahre.Die restlichen knöpfe sind relativ hochwertig und liegen gut auf den fingern. Die LEDs sehen sehr gut aus und strahlen schöne Neon Farben aus. Das Audio Interface gefällt mir auch sehr gut und der Mikrofon Eingang ist gut zu benutzen. Also meiner Meinung steht damit einer kleinen Party nichts im weg.
