Great-looking Steps But With a Couple of Small Caveats
Pros: these running boards look great, provide ample stepping space, and fit very sleekly along the side of the truck cab.Cons:1) I think the ease of installation is a little exaggerated. Yes, it is just bolt-on construction. However, the instructions have some errors - like failing to mention that you need a separate set of hardware to secure the front side bar bracket to the frame mounting bracket, and which pieces you should use. (I used the 10mm bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and nuts.) Also, mounting the front support bracket requires you to install hardware through a tiny nook in the truck's undercarriage. This part took me the longest; I recommend using a magnet tool to help retrieve pieces if they get lost. Finally, there are 24 T-slot bolts that affix the running boards to the side bar brackets and I would recommend using a power drill with nut driver attachment to secure them in place. This will make this step go way quicker and also save your wrists. I didn't have one; I used a ratchet instead.Overall the installation process isn't terrible, but maybe just don't expect to breeze right through it unless you've installed a set of similar steps before or have the most optimal tools. It's also worth noting that once I figured out the quirks of installation on the driver's side, installing the passenger side went considerably faster.2) As mentioned in the questions section, there is some give/flex to these boards when you step on them. I was hoping for a sturdier feeling step, but I guess this is one of the trade-offs when buying a less-expensive, bolt-on set. Regardless, I had a friend who weighs 300 lb. step on them and they didn't show any signs of stress. I guess it's just something me and anyone who rides in my truck with have to get used to.

Had some issues installing.
I have a 2006 Toyota Tundra double cab and the rear bracket didn't fit without modification. The picture in the instructions is different from my truck where it shows the rear frame mount so I suspect this is an issue with the kit itself and isn't that I was sent the wrong part. There is a rivet and edge of the rear frame mount tower in the way so a relief hole needs to be cut and the other hole extended. Anyone else have this issue or know what went wrong? It's easy to install if not for requiring modification. It has a little flex but it's also light weight so this doesn't bother me. I wish it would have directly bolted in.

Poor quality mounting brackets
The two mounting brackets that were supplied were not enough to support the board. I had to fabricate a bracket for the center of board and mount to truck frame. Other wise the board would sag.

These steps are great! The made me nervous at first (because they give a little when stepped on), but they seem to be holding up nicely.

It works with some modifications
Side steps weren't a direct bolt on for my 05 double cab. I swapped the rear mounts from driver to passenger side (vice versa) then cut a notch on the mount so the frame rivot wasn't in the way. The mounts came scraped up on the edges where you could see bare metal. Can't really complain for the price though.
