Love it
I wasn’t sure if I would like the new design of this bead loom, but it works great. Additional functionality that traditional beam looms don’t have. The instructions are easy to follow; I did have a bead loom as a kid, but the bracelets I made with this bead loom (pictured), I had never made before. I have started a traditional Indian style bead loom bracelet (not pictured) that looks great, so far, too. I do wish the manufacture had the buttons and cotton cord available for purchase separately because I love them and would purchase more.

Great price - easy to use!!!
This is a real loom! I was very impressed by the quality of materials when I opened up my box, especially for the price. This will make a great gift. I was worried about how easily the instructions would be to follow, but after only two days, I’ve got a gorgeous double wrap! Clear directions with excellent illustrations! Thank you TRŪ LOOM!

So easy to use!
I LOVE my TruLoom! It was so easy to use and make my first bracelet. I read the instructions and watched the video which was so helpful. I wasn't sure if I could make a three wrap bracelet since I had to add more thread, but the video made it so easy to understand how to do this. I am excited to use the loom to make bracelets for myself and give to others as gifts. This is a great product and gift idea for any age. Thank you!

Perfect for tween/teens!!!!
Awesome product! I was helping at a summer camp for kids and they had these as a station for the kids to make. My campers could not get enough of these! There were always girls making these and coming back to do more! And the teen helpers at the camp were going and making them at night!! I got one for my 13 year old daughter and she LOveS it!! It makes such beautiful, well-made bracelets!!!

Durability Questionable
This does not seem to be a "professional or heavy usage" item. The cords are held in place by a plastic clip that will undoubtedly break where it will be continually opened and closed with use.OK, for a beginner I suppose, to see if they like this method of beading but suspect I will be searching for a more durable unit once / if my granddaughter gets into making these types of bracelets. Too close to Christmas to shop for another brand, type.

Great product
As a Dad of a 12 yr old daughter, I thought the Truloom kit was easy to use and turned out great! Great product!

Disappointing
I wish I would have looked more closely at the reviews before purchasing! This is completely unusable!!!! There is no way to adjust strand tension which is horrible for weaving, the reason I bought it. I thought it would be wider and I liked the idea of being able to put the beads in the tray but once you load the loom there’s not enough room to put the beads on the needle. Thread snags on all the edges when trying to weave. End clips come undone as you progress with work making your piece too loose on one side and too tight on the other. Directions are a joke. Very disappointed and definitely do not recommend. Save your money and get the traditional bead loom and a bead tray. Very poor design.

Works but not good
If you purchase this, you can make it work...but you can also make a shoebox with combs taped to it work. And I honestly think that would be better. Like another reviewer said, the blue bar that's supposed to hold down the threads is useless, and I ended up cutting it off. That leaves a maddening little knob that pokes out and catches your thread, but I was able cut that off with kitchen shears, and melt the sharp newly-cut end with a lighter. The wooden knobs fell out since they were only held in with glue, but I screwed in metal screws with a screwdriver. So, a lot of troubleshooting for a $30 item.Another issue with this is that the threads inevitably get slack and there's no way to tighten them. I basically ended up typing the warp threads to the screws I put in, literally tying them fast with knots so the thing wouldn't budge, then cutting the bracelet off it when I was done.My trusty wire loom I got from an American Girl kit when I was 10, was overall less frustrating than this thing, and much cheaper! I would save your money. Like I said, you can make it work, and I did make about 50 bracelets on it (for a craft fair.) But I would not recommend it to anyone else.
