How Can you measure oven temperature

You must have a surface that you are pointing the device at. In other words it is not going to measure the air temp in the oven. If you have a baking steel or Pizza stone this would be perfect to measure the surface temperature. If you want to get the temperature of the grate, that works too. I hope this was helpful.

Will this device take body temperature accurately?

Maybe. First, it can't be used on the skin unless you have mapping curves that show skin temp vs body temp vs room temp. So you really need to point up the butt or under the tongue or in the ear. Because it has low sensor accuracy. 1.5% accuracy is a nominal number. What matters is consistency and linearity around 98 to 105%F. Remember, it is in spec if it reads a body temperature of 100F as 98.5F or 101.5F. But if you use an accurate sensor to realize that 100F is really 99F. And do it often enough to show consistency. And can create a calibration curve... then why not just buy a proper thermometer?????

Will this item measure air temperature from vents?

Sort of, yes. Technically no. It measures surface temperatures so it will measure the temperature of the grill the air is coming out of. That should be pretty close the the air temp so long as it has been blowing steadily for a while. But if the heat/cool has just come on it will give an inaccurate reading.
