Even if something will run while charging -DONT. It reduces the batteries ability to hold a charge permanently (Think back to high school chemistry)

How long does it take to charge?

The paperwork that comes with the Aeroslim recommends 3.5 hours but mine was partially charged when I got it. It holds a charge very well and I only use it for small jobs. I really like that it does not take up much space and works like a dream.
