Why is there no drawing showing where the 6 inches is measured? ditto for all sizes? how can the smallest dimesion be several inches?

This style of clamp is the greatest: one-hand is all that's needed to tighten or loosen the clamp, unlike a c-clamp which requires at least two hands to work and takes a long time and effort to clamp something.

IRWIN heavy duty.....!!! 24" clamp.

As expected , great clamps from Irwin , which by the way are massive . See in pic the difference in size compared to the medium duty clamp. 'One can never have enough clamps' is the saying ... So getting to the point slowly when I have a wall full of clamps and I could say that to somebody....
