Cozy Warmth...Tiny Roll
In putting it simply and hip this sleeping bag is nothing short of the bomb.com, totes! But...in all legitimate seriousness I'm so beyond happy and satisfied for choosing to purchase this product. Yes it was a bit on the pricey echelon however it more than adequately keeps my entire body warm from the toes to the head. It's made all the better for its ideal small compression size made easier for packing up time and going on about on your daily activities.

Good for what it is
Most people would agree that with most types of gear, having only one of something will only work for some of the time. I am a hunter, and I have multiple packs, tents and sleeping bags for different uses. This is my go to bag for backcountry hunts when warmth is key. I'll mainly use this bag for mid to late season, but I can also use it for early season archery hunting when summer night's are really cold in higher altitude areas. This bag is very very warm! It can be overkill! I have over 20+ night's in this bag and maybe 2 or 3 of them I was fully zipped into it. For me, I wanted a good down bag that was as light as light as I could get it for my budget. Sawtooth checked all of the boxes. I think it is more practical to have 2 sleeping bags for 4 season camping. I think my only complaint is the down poking through the fabric. That is very common with most down bags so it's to be expected. Just be aware that with a down bag, over time you will lose a few feathers here and there. But don't let that base your decision on down vs synthetic bags. Down is amazing and this bag is the perfect balance between light weight and warm. It is also very water resistant. I have waken up covered in condensation and it just sheds right off. So around great bag, I expect to use it for many many years..

Great budget down bag
Only has "ripstop" nylon on top (bottom and inside are standard nylon). Water resist coating on full outside, but none inside. Fortunately, baffles arent sewn through, so less cold spots or holes for down to escape. Beefy zipper is snag-resistant and has a bunch of other cool features (zipper "garage", ability to ventilate from bottom, glow in dark tabs, etc).I'm 6ft/180 lbs. I got the "long" version, but it really isn't necessary as it doesn't let me stretch out much more than a regular sawtooth. Granted, my core was already acclimated to the cold and temps only got down to 43 deg F, but I slept in it two nights outside and was sweating hot. Great budget alternative to Marmot's "Helium" 15 deg bag.
