A very smart vacuum and mop robot which does a very impressive job
I wanted to use this vacuuming and mopping robot for at least a month before I wrote a review, so I really could get to know how to properly use it and how it performs. It is so easy to use. Technically, you could get started immediately once you plug in the charging station and give it some time to charge. Out of box, the only assembly is popping on the cleaning 'whiskers', slipping the mop pads on, and popping in the detergent container which is already pre-filled. For a fast start, you just push the button on top of it and if it's the first time, it will go around and map out the rooms in your home. Once mapped, you can just start him manually by pushing the button and use all the defaults set up or better yet, add the app to your phone and you can see all the settings and modes you can use. For instance, you can do regular vacuum suction or super-powerful suction. Or, for area rugs (or any rug actually), you can tell it to vacuum it, cross over it (skip it), or don't even get on it at all- side step it entirely. Each run, he's (I named him Wally) constantly updating his surroundings so your map will get better each time. He will do one room at a time and do the outside boundary first including baseboards if you want him too, then he goes back and fills it all in. He will stop on occasion to go back to his base to either recharge (although he carries a charge for at least 2 hours at full force capacity and mopping.), empty his dust tray (it gets sucked up and compacted in the main dust bag in the base), or to rewet and clean his mop heads. There's a smart mode where you can just let the robot decide what to do- he knows if it's carpet, tile, hardwood, area rug, etc. He's very quiet, I usually cannot hear him at all when one room over or more. In fact, we had the football game on when he came into the family room and it didn't even bother us where we needed to turn up the volume. It's not a whisper, but it's not loud. Kind of like constant 'white noise' in the background. If he somehow gets stuck, he can call for help by making sounds. Or, if you don't know where he is, you can either just look at the app and you can see him moving or where he's stuck right on your map. If he does get stuck somehow, you can opt to receive a text. I do this, and it says exactly what's going on, error code, what room he's in, you can even see the path he took in each room for that particular cleaning cycle. Back to getting stuck, he does an excellent job of avoiding obstacles, but I initially forgot to mark certain areas where I want him to skip in the app. (This is easy to do, you just shade in the area on your map and he will avoid it, but make sure he has access to a path in or out or past it - he follows instructions so if for instance you block too much and cover the door way leading back out of a room, he will stop and send you a message. I forgot to mark under my bed as a no go zone, so once under there it was like an obstacle course, things shifted, there were wires and cords, etc so he got stuck. Not his fault, it was mine for not keeping him out of there. You can set up a schedule in the app where you decide which days of the week, how often, which tasks (mop, vacuum, or both), and which rooms or entire house). He's connected to your phone via a bluetooth connection so you need wifi. We had no dead spots or issues so this was a non-issue but I just wanted to bring that up. Also, if he's vacuuming and let's say he can't get it all in the first swoop, he'll go back and do it again. If he still doesn't have it all, he will repeat this multiple times until either it's cleaned up or it's just not gonna come out- this is for both mopping and vacuuming. His base takes up about as much room as a home office sized paper shredder. If you need help or have a question on how to do something a certain way, their customer support has always gotten back to me within 24 hours via email- or you can call. I hope you found all of this helpful. I would definitely recommend you get yourself this model (Freo Ultra Z).

Really clean and saves me time!
So far so good! We’ve only had the robot for a week but ran it the first time after having not mopped for a few weeks due to surgery. We have two dogs that shed, live where the ground is mostly sand and soil (little grass) and do not have any walkways so both humans and dogs track in a lot of sand and fine dirt.We ran the robot the first time and it did a really impressive job vacuuming and mopping. It went back over a few spots that needed extra care with the mop and quickly mapped the house. I will say it took a long time to vacuum and mop the first time but that’s because it had to catch up on some work we hadn’t done. This thing is quiet! We had it set on the third of four suction powers and my husband fell asleep while it was cleaning our room the first night.I’ve ran it everyday since getting it and it has cleaned the whole home quicker. It does a great job going around obstacles and we even moved a few things after it had mapped the house and it reconfigured the mapping accordingly. The last thing I wanted to do to test the quality of the mopping was the white cloth test. Photo attached!I will mop once a week on my own due to some of the spaces in our home it can’t get to but this has done a great job keeping up with the dog hair and dirt that can accumulate on the floor. The app itself was easy to set up and I haven’t had any issues other users are having but maybe I will with more time.Overall I’m really happy with this purchase!

What A WOW This was for me!!
Let me start from the beginning...I have two very large Labrador retrievers, one black one chocolate. They shed like there is NO TOMORROW. Years ago, my mom gave us a Rumba as a Christmas gift in the hopes that it might relieve me of the nightmare life I live in when it comes to dog hair. Well to no avail, the Rumba conked out on us within a month. She was convinced I never set it up and for years have had to convince her that it broke because there is SO MUCH HAIR from these dogs.So I pretty much assumed I would never be a great candidate for a robot vacuum cleaner. Well flash forward to October 2024, I have just come home from a 5 day trip to Mexico with my BFF and only to realize that my husband (who stayed home) hadn't vacuumed dog hair the ENTIRE time I was gone. He wasn't home when I walked in and y'all the gates of hell opened up and the fury (and dog hair) exploded around and throughout me! He was on the golf course that day and quickly pushed me to VM when I called to chew him out about his bad decision to not vacuum the mountain of dog hair that had grown over a five day period. The hair tumble weeds had developed their own tumble weeds. When I heard his chippy voice on his voicemail, I decided "to hell with this", I'm going to buy the most expensive vacuum cleaner I can find on Amazon just to "show him". Well the jokes on me because what was supposed to slap him the wallet (aka his love language) turned out to be the VERY BEST PURCHASE I'VE MADE IN THE LAST 24 YEARS OF MARRIAGE!!! This vacuum cleaner is truly a miracle. It doesn't do super great with the dog hair as far as automatically emptying into the bin, I have to clean it out manually more often than not. But it sure as heck vacuums the hair up! It knows the space it's working in, it will mop over and over again until it is cleaned to it's programmed satisfaction. It is super quiet, my two dogs are not bothered by it all, and my floors have NEVER-EVER-EVER looked better! They get mopped daily and vacuumed twice a day for good measure. I've had it since the last week of October and still haven't had to replace the cleaning formula to a new bottle. I feel like I have a personal assistant who dutifully cleans my floors and makes what was once a really time consuming and annoying daily venture a thing of the past. I haven't pulled out a mop since I got it. It cleans my baseboards, warms up the water when it washes the floors and just goes about doing it's thing. For as often that it mops, the water is still dirty when I empty the bin. But that goes to show how nasty floors with dogs get when they are walking in and out of the house. This is the best mad purchase I've ever made. Oh and funny thing is...he never even said a word about me buying the darn thing. He sees me happy and acts like this was the plan all along when I flew off to Mexico and came home to the piled up dog hair. He says this was his way of making me happy. So happy ending to an annoying day that turned out to be one of the best decisions of 2024!! Spend the money...it's worth every penny!!
