Very good long eye relief scope for the money.
I was initially a bit apprehensive about this scope when I ordered it, but after a couple trips to the range, I am happy to say my fears have been lifted. I own a Ruger Gunsite Scout rifle in .308Win and had been looking for an affordable scope to mount in a forward scout position, but still offer reasonable magnification for longer range shots.Overall, this optic feels like it is reasonably well made and solid. I did not get any rattles, squeaks, or grittiness in any of the knobs or magnification adjustments over my month of using this scope to shoot at distances from 25yds out to 400yds. I used medium height 30mm rings (you will need to buy the rings separately) for my rifle and it positioned the scope with plenty of clearance for the objective lens and at an appropriate height for a solid cheek weld.Adjusting the optic's windage and elevation knobs were simple and they gave good clicky tactile feedback. The illumination knob was a bit stiff, but it worked as intended with varying brightness levels. I did all my shooting during the bright daylight hours, so I never really tested out the illuminated reticle. The magnification ring rotated smoothly with with a good amount of resistance to allow me to quickly dial in the level I wanted without overshooting due to it being too loose.Optically, the scope performed well with a crisp, clear, bright image. There was some slight haziness/fuzziness at the edges of the visual field, but that's not uncommon even on more expensive scopes. The mil-dot reticle works as intended and I was able to make some shots at 400 yards using a holdover with the reticle. The eye relief is good and I did not have to move my head much to get into the eye box or to accommodate the changes in magnification. So far so good with this scope and about 300 rounds of .308 over the course of a month. I will update this review if anything changes, but I am happy with this optic so far.

Great fit for a M1 Garand scout scope. 30mm scope rings required for mounting.
Update October 10, 2023:I purchased a third scope and notice numerous improvements compared to the previous ones. If you are looking for a scout scope that you won't actually be doing any hardcore scouting with I highly recommend this brand now. For the average Joe this will do nicely. If you are looking for a steel brick that can take an abusive beating and remain in ZERO look elsewhere and bring money as they aren't cheap.Improvements:Glass is clearer and no longer has minor edge distortionsTurrets have smother operation and more pronounced clicksBetter quality finishHinged scope caps were installed on both endsFocus adjust is stiffer to move making it harder for it to accidentally adjust itself by rubbing on thingsCrosshair lighting stayed on between brightness adjustment clicks and does not flickerStill the same issues as the older ones:Crosshair lighting is gimmicky and will flood the inside of the scope at higher brightness settings while in low lighting conditions making it look like you are staring into a red spotlight instead of a scope.High brightness levels in low lighting will still backlight out of the scope just not as bad as before.Update July 5, 2022:I bought a second scope again when they came back in stock. This time the lighting knob works even when between clicks (but it flickers some), and I was sent a new unreturned scope unlike the last time. The quality is either getting better or I just got lucky. This brings it up to 2/3rds of a chance to get a good scope. I'd say this makes it worth taking a gamble on buying a Viiko.Update March 1, 2022:Buyer beware of seller! I ordered a second one for another gun and the item sent to me was something someone returned after it broke. The scope had been sent back to the seller and yet the seller had the audacity to sell to me a returned broken item as new and unopened at full price no less. I like the original scope I purchased enough to buy a second one, but I am clearly a victim of dishonorable sells practices. You can tell corners were cut in the production, but for the price it is at and the options available on it you get a good deal. However, with this scope I don't feel bad when the paint chips.Matches the M1 Garand in accuracy quite nicely. Just make sure to threadlocker the zoom knob so you don't lose it in the field. The Anti-reflection device needs 36mm with 0.75 for thread pitch to screw in the inner diameter, or a clamp on/ rubber cap style that fits a 39mm outer diameter.Pros:Good quality body barrelLift and turn adjustment knobs that click and can be zeroed (No cap cover over a screwdriver adjustment)Adjustable brightness cross-hair lightingMid-quality sight glass (at this price point)Smooth operating zoom in (No clicks)Comes with a 2032 batteryMildots are to scale and are not just blotches of pain on a lensFocus adjustment separate from zoomOne hand operationalNo tools required for operation (battery cover does have a coin slot)Cons:Lens caps provided are not for the scope (buy your own 12inch long scope cover)The lighting is more of a gimmick than functional but it does somewhat work. (your face will be backlit on high brightness)The brightness adjustment knob does not keep the light on when between clicks (it turns the light off if the knob is not perfectly on a number)Focus adjust does not click or lock in place and can be moved if rubbed on or bumped

Eye box is difficult to maintain
When looking through scope. The 7.5" eye box is nearly impossible for me to find. More than likely when moving around it will render scope useless. Middle of the day in florida looking out my window the image is foggy at 50 yards on a clear day. Never tried the battery portion of the optic as this quality already is not acceptable and will be returning. Looks great though.

Great scope
I bought this scope because I wanted a 1-10 lpvo and This was the only thing I could find that wasn’t $500. I bought it with an open mind and willing to try the long eye relief over a more traditional scope. The shipping was faster then stated and the quality has been great. The longer eye relief was different but not bad. I put this in an ar-15. Where I hunt has lots of brush areas and lots of long wide open fields. The ability to have an optic that goes from red dot like to scope gives me all the options I need to hunt in all areas. I had a question on the scope and the customer support was amazing. All I can say is look at this and see if it will work for you. It did for me.
