Great Value! Dehumidifier w/ Auto Defrost AND 3 Year Warranty!
I bought this 34 pint, 2500 Sq Ft. rated dehumidifier mainly to use in my garage and just started using it a couple of weeks ago. I have a raised ranch with a 2-car, attached (unheated) garage. We get quite a bit of snow here (especially this year) and the snow melt/water that drips from my SUV onto my vinyl garage flooring, significantly raises the humidity in the garage-which has caused excessive rust/corrosion of overhead door tracks, metal support posts, tools, etc. I bought this model specifically because it has the auto defrost feature -allowing it to still function in areas where the temps are lower -like my garage. I like that it comes with a drain hose that I can use if I ever decide to have it drain into my furnace condensate pump.I like that it's on wheels bc it saves my back from having to pick it up when I need to move it. The only time I don't care for the wheels (which don't lock), is when I'm trying to pull the collection tank out. The tank’s side grooves, where you’re supposed to grip it to slide it out aren’t very big, so that can sometimes be a pain- but it's not so bad that I'd consider it a huge negative. Compared to another, similarly sized dehumidifier I bought last year- this one is slightly louder when the fan is on the high setting. However, it doesn't bother me because I only run it in the garage and the unfinished area of the basement. When the unit is running on the high setting, my sound level meter registers it between 60 and 65 dBA (Although I’m not 100% sure how accurate the meter is..) If the unit had to be placed in our typical living areas, I would likely opt for something a little more quiet, but for my situation it’s perfectly fine.Pros:*compact, nice looking unit*wheels for easily moving it around*defrost feature-allowing it to still function in cooler areas (as low as 41°F), like in an attached garage*comes with optional drain hose*auto shut off when tank is full*comes with a 3 year warranty-which was quick and easy to register for. I just scanned a qr code which opened up an email where you just fill in your name, model #, etc.. I received a fast (next day) warranty confirmation response from the manufacturer.*digital display with easy to use controlsCons: (none of these are deal breaker -for me at least)*there isn't much in the way of a recess or grip for being able to grab the collection tank and slide it out when emptying it.*wheels don't have the ability to lock -at least that I saw. Not worried about it rolling away -because unit obviously needs to be on a level surface to function properly -but would be very handy when emptying the collection tank, to hold the unit in place as you need one hand on each side to pull it straight out. After chasing it around the garage a few times, I've come up with some creative (awkward) ways to pull the tank out when there's no one around to hold the unit still for me...*When the fan setting is on high, it's probably a little louder than most would prefer if located in a frequently occupied living area.*Manual that was included doesn’t clearly state what each of the three operation modes does- it only tells you which settings (fan speed, humidity level) can be adjusted depending on which mode you are in. (Modes: Dehumidification; Drying; Continuous) Not a huge deal- I just looked it up online to figure out the difference between each.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase as it seems to be a well-made dehumidifier and has all of the main options I was looking for, including the 3 year warranty. In hind sight, I probably would've ordered the next size up for my 2 car garage, just so I wouldn't have to run it for quite as long in the cooler months. **When operating at lower temps in the winter, it's normal for dehumidifiers to take longer to remove moisture from the air (thermodynamic principles...) I'd definitely recommend this dehumidifier, and would suggest considering a unit rated for a larger room- if you want to cut back on the amount of time it actually has to run.

Jury's out on this little unit...Hopeful!
I will give 5 stars for now and update later. I just plugged it in!First impression... It's too small. It won't work like I need it too and the water collection tank is really small! I haven't measured it but guessing 4 cups... I don't have access for using the drain hose that it comes with. So I do have dump the tank. The reviews on this little unit are good to great and that why I bought it. I have another unit I bought 8'yrs ago and it runs almost 24/7 and it holds a gallon in its tank. I usually dump it once to twice a day... so you understand my skepticism on this little unit. As small as it is I will be dumping it 4-5 times a day. (I did try to reorder the one I have and they don't make them anymore... imagine that)They say great things come in little packages... so we will see.

Probably the most reliable low-cost dehumidifier
I've purchase three dehumidifiers since January of this year. One was a major brand name. Out of the three, this one was the least expensive. It's surprisingly well built, heavy but easy enough to move to different rooms on it's wheels, and has a decent size bucket that - once my rooms were being maintained - can take a few days to fill.I live in Florida and didn't trust the humidity displayed at first, so I bought a three pack of ThermoPro digital hygrometers and placed them in the livingroom and two bedrooms. The number displayed on the dehumidifier is either spot on or ocassionally 1-2 digits off. Most likely due to the water sitting in the bucket. Also, removing the bucket seems to stop the device, but two times it did not, so I simply turned the power off until the bucket was placed back into the unit.Keep in mind that I purchased this unit four months ago, and considering how well it works without breaking the bank, it's well worth the price.Packaging is awesome - very secure - and if you want to, the water can be constanly drained through a hose you can attach to the back of it. So, if you go on vacation, you can still keep it on and have it drain into a sink/shower/etc.

It works very well. And it's not too noisy.
I'm very pleased with the operation of this dehumidifier. However there is one thing that kept me from giving it five stars. I really thought the water tank was going to be bigger. It's very small. I end up emptying it twice a day. My house is not set up where it's easy for me to use the drain hose otherwise I would go that route. I will say this though, the water tank that's in it makes it easy to use that water to water my plants. It's worth the money they're charging. It's a good product.

Small, sturdy, quiet, powerful, friendly and quiet dehumidifier. Highly recommend.
I purchased my VEAGASO dehumidifier (model VG380, ASIN: B0BVZ62Y3M) on March14, 2025 and it has worked well in a granite block basement for over a month during rainy season. It is compact, sturdy and rolls easily on it's 4 wheels although it can be easily immobilized. Even set at high speed it is very quiet (like a fan, not an air conditioner). While other options (timer, drier, etc.) can be selected I just set my on continuous and selected the desired (35) humidity level. The LED shows the current humidity level. I wanted mine to drain into a set tub and while it clearly shows it has a drain, I wanted to confirm there was no way for it to pump "uphill" so it could be set on the cellar floor I contacted VEAGASO and almost instantaneously got a complete reply (no pump). Can's ask for better customer service. I set it on top of an overturned bucket in the bottom of the tub and it drains great. Set and forget.

Good dehumidifier
My old dehumidifier that I had in my basement went out and I didn't want to pay a lot of money for a new one. I found this one and the price is reasonable. I purchased it and I love it. Its small and compact but it does the job for my 1100 square feet basement, it's not loud like my old unit was. I like the fact that it comes with the drain hose, I can drain in through my sump pump. I don't have to worry about emptying the tank. I recommend this dehumidifier.
