This review is far from timely- I have been using this unit for more than two years now and love it. It is both very convenient to be able to charge multiple batteries at once- I use them in a number of devices including smoke detectors. But for those who think ahead, it is a great solution for preppres. With the USB cable you can connect these to a small portable solar panel and keep your batteries "in play" for a near indefinate period. Yes, they will eventually wear-out, but if you've used them that long- we're long past the availability of disposable batteries and they will be priceless by comparison.

The battery charger takes a while to charge the batteries, but it does get the job done! I would buy it again!

Using it on my smoke alarms. Seems to be working fine. Recharge batteries once a year.

Ok, is it me or do they not make 9v batteries like they used to? Whether it's from the "D" or "E" brand they don't last but a couple of weeks, even when sitting idle.This is a great investment at a great price! The charger and 5 rechargeable 9volt batteries were delivered early and 3 out of 5 came charged. Charging was fast. Price was reasonable.Thank you!

instructions say when light green, battery charged. But when turn green, wait awhile and light blinks red, then back to green. Been doing this for a couple of days now. Battery rechargeable or not, battery charge never full. Plug Into device, device works for a while, then dies. Better find unit that shows strength of charge rather than color of light. As in a meter. This is a waste of resources. Even for China. I wish I could buy American again. Pride in workmanship is a lost art today. The kids today don't know better. A generation of fools. Future leaders? I don't want to see the day!Beware of someone named Kiki in customer service. She has no idea of honesty is. She will promise you one thing and deliver something else.

My wife wanted these battery operated motions near the entry's. I was using rechargeable C batts for the receivers, thought I would try these for the motions. they have been out in winter cold for 2 months, working fine.
