HAD TWO OF THESE EACH NEVER WORKED THEY RETURNED MONEY ON THE FIRST ONE GOT SCREWED ON THE SECOND ONE SENT BACK BUT NO REFUND

Does the front cassette slide ALL the way into the printer?

Yes, the paper cassette is on the bottom and slides all the way into the printer. The tray for the finished copy can be closed flush with the front of the printer if you are not printing.
