Just what I needed. Works well and price was good.Con: Not the same readings as Greenegg thermometer but gets the job done. Had to calculate, but it came with a note saying to calculate before using.

Overall the product was well worth the money. However I felt that the item was not as accurate as it should be. IT CERTAINLY WAS CLOSE ENOUGH FOR GRILL WORK and so I had no intention of returning it. BUT I contacted the company and explained the inaccuracy. They sent me a new one immediately and it was a more expensive model. This is a good vendor and I highly recommend them

This thermostat has a long probe which is needed for my PitBoss, kettle bbq. The thermostats sold at Home Depot are made for regular bbq's and have short probes which do not work on kettle. This thermostat took about one minute to install. The numbers are a little bit smaller than I expected, but it worked perfectly the first time I used it.

If you do anything other than low temp cooking, this gauge will not work properly after. I bought the gauge and cooked pizza at 700 degrees. The next morning when my BGE had cooled down, the temperature read 900. I bought a second thermometer thinking it was bad luck. Nope. This gauge will not maintain accuracy if it gets above 500 degrees. It also cannot be recalibrated.

Put this on my egg. Works great and cost competitive compared to EGG gear.

I shouldn’t have waited so long to upgrade the temp probe on my BGE. When I got this one, I understood what I’d been missing. Super easy to install and gives one of the many pieces of data that make grilling successful.

when you receive one check it for accuracy. My first was off by 10 degrees...they apparently get bumped around during shipping. My replacement was spot on temp.
