Does this cream need to be refrigerated ?

No, but you can if you want. It's always wise to store skincare away from heat (or light if it contains Vitamin C which degrades in light). Heat can cause actual evaporation of the product inside jars or bottles. In this case, the ingredient of yogurt in skincare isn't the same as storing edible yogurt. Occasionally, I store certain products like this in the fridge to preserve ingredients better and prevent evaporation from heat, but that's a choice rather than a necessity and unnecessary in this case.
