Great food but wildly fluctuating pricing
I never write reviews….this deer food is excellent. They love it much more than the super heavy grocery store plain, cheap deer corn. But the wild price fluctuations on Amazon are terrible. It swings from $8.99 to $19.99 to $30+ a bag!!!! Stop with your wild pricing algorithm, Amazon!

Deer Can’t Resist!
I’ve tried a lot of different deer attractants over the years, but this Fortified Deer Blend is on another level. The Cherry Rush flavor has a strong, sweet scent that carries well and pulls deer in fast. I set some out the first evening and had activity on my trail cam within hours—does, bucks, even younger deer were all checking it out. What I really like is that it’s not just a bait, it’s packed with vitamins and minerals to support antler growth and overall herd health. The 10 lb bag goes a long way since the product lasts on the ground longer than most powders or pellets I’ve used. The deer keep coming back to the same spot, which makes it perfect for both feeding and patterning. If you’re looking for something that works, smells great, and actually benefits the deer, this is it. I’ll definitely be stocking up before season.Long-lasting scentNoticeable results on trail camsHealthy supplement for antlers & herd growthHighly recommend!

Wild deer and other critters really like it. First order arrived as a mess though.
I had originally ordered this to take to Mexico to feed some friendly deer on the resort. The first one arrived as a mess with the bag opened and since I could not travel with that I had to get a replacement. Second one arrived fine and so I took it with me. Oddly enough, the friendly deer would not eat it. They have become spoiled and ate fruit I had but not this feed. Fortunately, there are also many wild deer on the resort so I left some out and they all came out for a snack. So throughout the week I would dump some out for them and they would come out of the woods to eat it. The cherry smell really got their attention...you could see them sniffing the air. Now, when I got back home I still had the original broken bag and put some out in the yard. Birds, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits...and probably more all went to town. All I would find the next day was empty sunflower seed shells. I would say that they quality is great because it was all gone after a few days of leaving it out. I love feeding animals and at least this stuff is nutritious for them.

Great but 5x too expensive
It’s great corn. But deer corn is $8 for 50 lbs at Buc’ees. Do the math.

Deer love this food.
At night, or early in the morning a mother deer and her baby doe come to where I place the deer feed. Sometimes I place the food in different locations but she seems to find the food every time. The deer food is fresh, of good quality, and liked very much.

The Deer Avoid It
The good news is our squirrels did not eat it. The bad news is that deer won't either. We had 5 deer in our yard this morning and they walked right past the deer blend with absolutely no interest, preferring to eat old dead leaves on the ground next to it. I guess the other good news is that it was a fairly cheap experiment which will be going into compost. Now, it could be our deer. Perhaps they will warm up to it. If so, I will change me review.UPDATE 09-03-24: Deer (at least ours) hate it, so does every other animal that encounters it. Here is one of our deer sitting right behind me drinking water. In the dish next to it (to her left) is the Big Tine Blend. She sniffed it and walked away, would not even taste it.So, you want to put something out that no animal will disturb? This is your mix. Guess I will put some around our plants that the deer eat. Seems to work better than coyote urine for keeping them away.
