I'm sorry but I had to return it as I ordered the wrong one and it was too small. It was my fault by not reading the information properly. My mug is a 30 oz size so I and re-ordered one that fits the mug I have. I HOPE. Am expecting the bigger one this Thursday so I sure hope I read the info right this time.

LEAD on the inside of the lid! At least according to a lead test kit I bought after seeing a discolored spot under the rubber drinking hole seal (see photo). Worried about bacteria buildup under the seal I separated it from the lid for cleaning in the dishwasher. After a dishwasher cycle I noticed corrosion that reminded me of the lead contacts corrosion that builds up a 12v car battery. I ordered a lead test kit and according to the color result (see picture) it appears to contain or is lead. Also note that the rubber normally would hide this from view.

I was hoping this would fit the REDUCE 4-in-1 coolers. Its the right size, but the threading is not compatible. So close!

THIS LID IS THICK AND SOLID. IT DOES KEEP THE DRINGS WARM & COLD LONGER. MY LID HAD 3 DEFECTS IN THE LIP, TO PULL THE LID OFF THE CUP. IT IS VERY BAD, WHEN THIS PRODUCT HAD SEVERAL DEFECTS, AND THE CUSTOMER HAS GOT TO PAY THE RETURN SHIPPING & HANDLING FEE, IN ORDER TO GET A REPLACEMENT. SO I JUST ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK, THEN THEY PAID FOR THE SHIPPING & HANDLING FEES, TO SHIP IT BACK.

This lid definitely makes a difference! I fill my mugs with diet coke and if I put them in the fridge overnight, they still taste fresh like I just filled it. I'm very particular about where I go fill my diet cokes because it tastes different everywhere. But even if I get my mug out of the fridge before I go to bed, it sits out all night by my bed and I drink it in the morning, it tastes great. It's not watered down at all.I wanted to kinda test the lid out to see how watered down my soda got but because I always drink diet coke, I thought I might not be able to tell. So, I filled two mugs with Rootbeer because it has such a distinct bite to it. I thought, it's really obvious when Rootbeer gets watered down so I'll let my mugs sit out for 8 hours. One mug had the lid the cup comes with, the other mug had this lid. The mug with the regular lid still had most all of the ice, but it was definitely watered down some. The mug with this new lid shocked me! The rootbeer still had the bite to it, like it was fresh!If you only drink water, it may not be necessary. I'm sure it would keep the ice in there longer, but it doesn't matter if ice melts in water. But when you fill your mug with soda, it's definitely worth using these lids!!
