Sexy expensive coffee mug sez you've "arrived"
I use it and love it, though it's expensive. Copper bottom is sexy. Can't remember if it's dishwasher safe, but easy to hand-wash in any case. It just feels good in my stubby hand! It claims to be double-wall; muy bueno for that. But I use an electric mug warmer, which arguably means I don't need such a sexy coffee mug. Hmmm.

New Favorite Mug
I love this mug. I've purchased several different styles of mugs over the last few months and I think this is exactly what I've been searching for but haven't found (until now). I love that it's double walled so it keeps my coffee warm but the mug itself stays cool to the touch. Note that it doesn't keep coffee as hot as an insulated mug with a lid (science) but I think it stays warm longer than with a traditional mug.I also love that it doesn't have a handle because I never hold my mugs by the handle anyway so it kinda just gets in the way. It also fits perfectly under the portafilter of my espresso machine (I only have to tilt it slightly to get it in there). Not all of my mugs fit well under it so this is a huge bonus for me. Also, it's sleek and attractive. If there's any drawback it's a tiny one... a little coffee drips down the side of the mug after I take a drink. I have some double wall glass mugs that do the same thing so maybe it's the thicker lip? Or maybe I'm just a sloppy coffee sipper? I also noticed a pool of condensation left by my mug of hot coffee when I picked it up off my desk. I don't think it's built up from the mug, I think it probably collected under the mug while it was on my espresso machine tray. Not a fault of the mug, however I haven't noticed this with any of my other traditional mugs. Easy fix, I'll just use a coaster when at my desk. It's a little pricy but I'll most likely order a few more for guests (and so I don't have to drink out of the exact same mug every morning). I kinda feel sorry for the rest of my mugs because I likely won't use them again.

Very nice? Well, TBD…
These mugs look 95% as good at they do in the product photos. From an aesthetics and function standpoint, I give them 5 stars. However, I noticed the packaging photos, included a picture of the mugs filled with coffee and a cocktail umbrella stuck in it and a fruit wedge tucked on the opposite side of the rim. This “unorthodox” presentation of a coffee drink made me suspicious that the mugs might have been manufactured by people who don’t actually drink coffee (or worse, who actually drink coffee with a slice of fruit and a cocktail umbrella in their coffee). Either way, the photo raised my suspicions and I checked the manufacturing location. Sure enough, made in China. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of high quality products made in China, but the stereotype is not born out of thin air. Armed with this knowledge, I examined the product more closely and the copper base now felt more hollow and somewhat precarious, like it could fall out after a few uses. Now, let’s talk about the negatives… Just kidding, this is a nice mug, a bit overpriced at $50 for both the 11oz and 6.5oz bundle after closer inspection of the build quality. All that said, it looks nice enough and feels solid in the hand and the double wall insulation does keep the drink warmer longer compare to a regular ceramic mug. The copper base is a nice visual touch, but it does prevent me from adding some milk and heating it up in the microwave before adding the coffee in. It does say it is dishwasher safe. After a couple uses, the coffee washed off easily without residue or stains on the nice white ceramic.

The Cadillac of Coffee Mugs
Great style, great quality, it’s also got some weight to it. Don’t mess with someone who is holding one. 😆

A Disappointment Dressed in Copper
Upon receiving my Fellow Monty Milk Art Cup, the initial awe of its modern, sleek design was palpable. The copper finish gleamed with the promise of countless satisfying brews adorned with latte art. However, as the saying goes, not all that glitters is gold. The Monty, with its claim of being dishwasher safe, boldly entered the realm of my dishwasher. Unbeknownst to me, this would be the beginning of a disheartening saga. Post-wash, an unsolicited swish greeted me, a telltale sign of water that had infiltrated the base of my once-pristine cup. Now, every tilt brings about a swish, a stark reminder of the design flaw that now mars my brewing ritual. Moreover, the copper finish, while visually pleasing, seems to be on a mission to document every touch, every grasp, with a zeal akin to a fingerprint enthusiast. The relentless smudging demands frequent polishing, an endeavor I hadn't signed up for.The heart of the matter is, a product touted for its quality and dishwasher safety should not falter at the first encounter with mundane cleaning. Now, as the water swishes around the base with a whimsy of its own, the Monty sits in my kitchen, a copper-clad emblem of disappointment.Unfortunately, the allure of latte art perfection that the Monty Milk Art Cup promised has been overshadowed by the reality of its impracticality. The jovial swish of water is a melody that signifies not charm, but a design flaw that's hard to overlook. In the finale, the Monty has transitioned from a hopeful companion to a mere display piece, a solemn reminder that sometimes beauty and functionality don't go hand in hand. The Monty Milk Art Cup, with its quirky yet frustrating tendencies, has left a bitter taste, and it's not from the coffee.

Fits nicely in your hand
The cup feels well-made and fits nicely in your hand. It’s double walled so it won’t get too hot to the touch. The capacity is good for single shot lattes. Single shot lattes will take 200g of steamed milk in this cup.Double shots lattes will taste stronger than normal, but works. We have 2 of them and they stack nicely.
