VTech DM111 Safe & Sound Digital Audio Baby Monitor

After we got this monitor, we have gained our freedom to work in our terrace office, when our kids sleep at night. It has a good range and is very reliable. It it very easy to use too. But For battery use, it doesnt last long. The only thing is make sure you turn it off when not in use, otherwise people can hear unwanted conversations. 😅

I don't like that this was sold on the Amazon website for India, yet it is not compatible with Indian electricity.I contacted the seller to ask what power converter I can use for it, for the baby unit. I got no response.I used the power converter pictured for the baby unit.I charged the parent unit with no problems on my big power converter.I used it for the first time last night. Everything was working fine for half a the night. Then the baby unit broke down in the night. My 2 year old woke up and got out of her mosquito net and came to my room to wake me up.That's how I realized that it had broken.Too bad I can't return the unit now because it is past the return window.I guess it's audio equipment so it's my fault that the baby unit is broken.But I thought I was getting a product that works in India in the first place.

Dont buy this unless u r willing to spend another 700 bucks for voltage converters... its for 110 volts and tgey wont even let me return it . So ended up having to purchase the voltage converters but works good.

I had earlier given 5 stars, and written a great review for this product, however I am forced to change it now. After 3 months of working fine, the unit stoped working one fine day. Just stopped. The seller refused to return or replace the product as usual, while the manufacturer in US (V Tech) said the product is not meant for India. I was shocked, as to how Amazon India is allowing to sell this product in India if the manufacturer says they won't do anything about it. Long story short- if you are buying in India, don't waste your money over this product.

Worked for two days. Adapters just stopped working. Tried combinations but of no use. Not happy!

Please do not buy this product. Multiple reasons:1. The product was non functional since the time it arrived. It didn't work AT ALL2. There is no customer care for the product in India. You won't be able to get any after sale service3. When I contacted the seller, she said you can return the product as that unit was defective. ??!!!. I mean she knew she had sent me a defective piece. I was astonished!Thankfully I returned within the return window.

This product didnt work even using relevant converters.Had to immediately return it.

Patent Monitor is not working even with a battery or charger...call me plz!
