540/545/550 Size Motor Heatsink with Cooling Fan 6v JST Aluminum Heat Sink for 1/10 Car HSP HPI Wltoys Himoto Easily one of the better investments for 540-50 sized motors, add a little thermal paste and Bam!!!, drop 10-15 degrees. I changed out the fan for a 40mm version to cover more of the heatsink, but the stock one works ok. A 60mm is a little over kill, but does cover the entire sink.

Ok so, it is what I expected but, doesn’t live up to a 5 star rating. I would buy it again for my application, knowing it’s limitations. So don’t hesitate to buy, as long as you know what you are getting.The fan is not the fastest but, it doesn't draw as many amps as the faster fans (give and take). It is quiet though. The heat sink is very nice and fits my brushed 540 motor well. It does have a friction fit but, can still rotate a bit and slide off if you use your hand. It will not just come off by itself (I would suggest some thermal paste or tape to help with the hold and heat transfer though). The length of the heat sink was perfect for my application.As I stated, would buy again and the price was great. Just understand what you are getting. If the fitment was tight enough for no movement and the fan was faster, I would easily give it a 5 star but, today it is a strong 4.

A little snug fit on the motor Arrma Granite 4x4. After the 4th battery change, the fan died. Tried a different fan on the same esc, different fan works fine.

Works just as it should and keeps the motor cool

Seems of good quality but it doesn’t work on a brushed motor.
