Do you think this box will fit a 2023 Kia Telluride without obstructing the tailgate door from opening completely?

However, fit only certifies a secure attachment to the crossbars based on the size, shape and weight capacity. You will just need to check the front clearance of the crossbars to see what size cargo carrier will fit on the vehicle without interfering with opening the rear door. You will need to measure from the middle of the front crossbar to the furthest-forward part of the liftgate and compare it to the measurements in the Hatch Clearance Guide in the "Application Guide" PDF in the "Product guides and documents" section of the cargo carrier product page on Amazon.

Will this mount to 80/20 extruded aluminum?

It will fit to round, square or I mounted it on oval shaped bars made of aluminum without any modification. Stays put. I just finished an 1800 mile trip with it, no issues. Just be very careful when locking/unlocking it, some reviewers say that they have had problems with the lock breaking. I can see where this could happen if you're not careful. Be gentle and it will be fine.

will this fit a 2021 Subaru Outback?

I put it in my 2013 Outback. Thule has a great website with a fitting guide that gives the exact model number to come back and purchase, in addition, it tells you how to set it up and how to distribute weight, etc...
