Bougainvillea Fertilizer by Nelson Plant Food

Was having difficulty with my plants until I started using this product. After 2 months my plants popped back in to life. I feed them every 6 weeks and the colors are popping. Great product and a good value.

Don't hesitate. This stuff is amazing!I've been keeping my Bougainvillea alive in a large flower pot for over 10 years.I always bring it in for the winter months and use lights to keep it going until taking back outside after Easter. Our weather gets into the triple digits. Basically, this plant has had a hard life and always looked pathetic.Nothing I tried ever did the trick. This year I found this Nelson Plant Food designed for flowing plants and specifically for Bougainvillea. Photo tells it all. Prolific blooms!

This was the first time trying this fertilizer out and it was fantastic! I portion out the fertilizer as described which was about 1/2 cup for each of my bougainvilleas, and within 3 weeks it sprung up flowers. I’m in Florida and Bougain flowers grow in fall to spring. This was just what I needed to kick start my flowers.

I’ve faithfully used this every 2 weeks for at least 2 months and my bougainvillea is still showing no sign of blooming. It had beautiful blooms on it when I bought it but when they dropped off, that was it.

Pictures speak for themselves. They were taken 2 months apart. I always read that Bougainvilleas loves to be neglected somewhat but I’m just not that person especially since this guy is on my patio by the pool and we live in zone 9. It’s been hot! Purchased it full of bracts then they all dropped due to moving stress. Finally found a spot where it takes the full sun, gave it this food and now 2 months later it’s fuller, bracts are coming back and much greener. It’s very happy and so am I!

My Bougainville went from no flower to PACKED with flowers in about 2 weeks

I have a bougainvillea vine that was very close to dead. After checking out its symptoms online (no growth, and withered, curled, yellowed leaves, many of which had already fallen off the plant) and learning that it needed fertilizer, I bought the Nelson Plant Food and applied it as directed. Within the first 2 weeks the plant stopped getting worse and actually put out a few new healthy leaves. By the end of month it began producing a lot of new healthy leaves and after 6 weeks of treatment with the plant food, my vine has dark green glossy leaves and large clusters of flowers. It has also grown taller and is spreading out over the wall where it is located. It looks better than it ever did!
