So, with that in mind, I do not think this will work on concrete, cmu, and drywall surfaces. I suggest you email or write to the manufacturer to verify this information.

I’m sorry, but I have not tried to measure bumper paint thickness. I don’t believe it will work on plastic. The readout is big and the meter works very well.
