As i have long fingers, i usually have men's grips put on my ladies golf clubs. should i wrap the shafts with 2 layers of tape?

I would not, it is hard enough to get new grips on over the tape, if you put on 2 layers, you may not get grips on. They make oversize grips, which is what I use, love them.

How long does it take for the glue to dry enough to play with?

They dry within about two hours. I had my clubs out hitting about 2-3 hours after re-gripping and they were fine.

how many grips can 4 oz of solvent do?

I purchased this for my husband for Father’s Day and he was able to replace 14 grips and still had half of the bottle of solvent left. He used the whole bottle while working and collected the remaining in a container after pouring it over the shaft/tape and sliding on the new grips. When he was done he poured it back into the bottle for the next set of grips.

I know this is the wrong use for the product, but would this work for motorcycle grips if I trimmed the tape to size?

Yes. The tape width is for golf clubs. But you could trim length-wise to fit handle bars.
