Fantastic game!!
No board! No cards to read! Just good old fashioned stacking! You start with a base and 10 gems. You choose a piece for the person on your left to place on their "base". They can play it or pay a gem to pass it on to the next player to use. They can choose to play it or pay 2 gems to pass it on... etc!Whoever lasts the longest wins!Great fun for ANY age!Highly recommend!!Oh - and you really can build the structure on the front of the box! :-)

Great game for the all people
Excellently made game with nice quality wooden pieces. It is simple to play and great for all types of people or families. There are several different rulesets which add different takes on the game.

Fun and simple dexterity game.
Bausack is one of those great games that is aimed for almost anybody as oppossed to hardcore gamers and plays from 2-8 people. The game is pretty quick to set up with an average playtime of twenty to fifty minutes depending on player count.Bausack is essentially a tower structure building game. The game comes with an assortment of wooden pieces in two colours. The white pieces are generally speaking slightly easier to use such as rectangles, cubes, or flat bottomed cylinders. The red pieces tend to be harder to place such as an egg, a vase, a cone, a spike etc. Each player starts off with ten gems in which to bid with. On their turn they can select a piece from the pile in either colour and bid either to get the piece, or, and this is where the fun is, bid to NOT take it, allowing for people to try and set up other players. Once gone there is no way to get more gems so each decision is critical.Your first won (or lost) piece is your foundation block in which every other piece must be placed on. The winner is the last person standing whose tower hasn't collapsed into a heap. There are some other varients in how you can play such as first person to build five red pieces wins etc which gives it a bit of variety. It's not hugely deep and I find it's only worth playing here and there, you'd rarely play it twice in a row but it is a good warm up game which have resulted in some amazing structures that should never balance but do, and perfectly sound ones that topple.I'd recommend it as either a fun family game or a light warm up game before moving onto other things. Definitely worth a look.+ Bidding for or against pieces leads to interesting scenarios.+ Quick easy to set up for decent player count.+ Decent production values.- Not a game I can play a lot of in one sitting.

Great game for all ages
Brilliant game. Rules are simple, it's fun to play, and can either be a really competitive game or a relaxing way to pass the time by building elaborate towers.

This was very disappointing and results in the game being useless. The game was new and sealed with cellophane ...
I have just opened the Bausack for the first time to have a family game only to find I have only 2 instead of 6 initial base blocks. This was very disappointing and results in the game being useless. The game was new and sealed with cellophane so the pieces must have been missed out at manufacturing.
