Had one that lasted for years but finally wore out. I tried just going with vinyl or rubber mats but they don't clean shoes or boots nearly as well. Ordered 2 this time for front and back door. These work so much better at cleaning off my work boots or yard shoes. 👍

it does a great job of cleaning shoes, it does retain water but dries fast and washes off very good, but sheds some fiber when new, although it is getting to be less

Love this mat. No weird smell noted when we got it. Lays nice and flat with no bumps. Love how thick and heavy it is. We have high winds, so I'm always worried that mats will fly away. My kids somehow always tend to move the mats when they walk on it, but this one has been holding up since October. It's the perfect size for our front door. My wife says it adds such wonderful curb appeal. Worth it!
