Excellent value
The Garmin Epix Gen 2 strikes an ideal balance between premium smartwatch design and hardcore multisport functionality. The stunning AMOLED display is crisp, vibrant, and easily readable even in bright sunlight, giving it a sleek and modern feel without compromising outdoor usability.Battery life is surprisingly strong for an AMOLED watch, lasting anywhere from 6 to 16 days depending on usage. GPS performance is top-tier, with multiband GNSS support and detailed topo maps, making it a great companion for hiking, running, and backcountry navigation.Health and fitness tracking are comprehensive—heart rate, SpO2, sleep, stress, and advanced performance metrics like VO2 max and training readiness are all built in. It feels rugged yet premium, especially in the sapphire or titanium editions. On the downside, it's expensive and may be overkill for casual users. Also, while the battery life is excellent, it still trails behind some MIP-display watches like the Fenix line when used continuously outdoors.Overall, the Epix Gen 2 is an outstanding smartwatch for serious athletes and outdoor enthusiasts who also want a sharp, modern display. It is my everyday watch now.

Excellent watch at a good price if you don't need the Fenix 8 add'l features.
I am very happy with my Garmin Epix Pro Gen 2 watch. It replaced my old Garmin Fenix 3, which still worked fine, but all the extra health features and the OLED color display (much more readable - bright and colorful), with longer battery life, made the Epix Pro Gen 2 too much of an upgrade to ignore, and at a much better price point than the Fenix 8 (the additional features of the Fenix 8 did not matter for my use). Since the Fenix 8 now features the OLED display, it is unlikely that there will be any additional generations of the Epix line, so if you don't need the add'l features of the Fenix 8, the Epix Pro Gen 2 is a great option while they are still available.

Nice watch
Really happy with this watch! Runs really well and provides a lot of helpful data. I don't run very often, more of an avid lifter, so some of the stuff like hill climb endurance and VO2 max scores aren't utilized but the sleep tracking and stress tracking is really nice. I charge it every morning or every other morning out of habit so I can't really comment on battery life, but it says it has 6 days the way I have it set up. It's heavy like a gshock, but not ridiculous or anything. The step counter seems pretty accurate every time I go to test it but it's reporting way less than every other tracker I've ever had (maybe they were over reporting?). It's plenty bright enough to handle the full Tennessee sun and adjusts seemlessly to indoor lighting conditions without my input. I already feel a lot better just listening to it's suggestions. I'm sleeping better and training harder. And the red flashlight is awesome for going to bed and not disturbing your wife or getting up to pee. It's also handy for making quick adjustments under the hood of your truck in the dark. I'll come back and update if/when it breaks. I wish it had Pandora support for music (I don't like Spotify) and macrofactor support for nutrition (only has my fitness pal).

Great smartwatch
Really good smart watch.I bought this smartwatch because it has a sapphire screen and about 10 days of battery life. I've worn it daily for months and the screen is pristine. It keeps a pretty good connection to my phone, though I do sometimes have a 10 second delay between phone notifications and the watch. My only complaint is the charger on the back is difficult to insert.

Excellent product with plenty of features and data!
Excellent product by Garmin. Have used this for almost 2 years now and it's performed flawlessly. Garmin quality, and plenty of data and sensors to help you make the most of your activities, exercise and fitness goals.

Would definitely buy it again
The Garmin epix Pro is arguably one of the best multisport smartwatches on the market. It combines the rich training features of the Fenix line with a brilliant AMOLED display, making it both a capable training tool and a luxury smartwatch. I’m not an athlete, but recently have started taking HIIT classes and I love how it tracks all my sets and gives me training readiness. The battery life last well over a week which is amazing compared to my kids Apple Watches. Took some time to learn all the features, but definitely worth it.

Great watch, tiny band.
Set up was easy. I love the functions of the watch. Battery life is great. My only complaint is the band. Why is the band so small? I have fairly small wrists and had to order an off-brand replacement because this one pinches it’s so tight. For a $700 watch, I think they could offer different size bands.

Worth the price point
Watch has phenomenal battery life as advertised and tracks all metrics very well(heart rate, sleep, HRV, etc). It is very sturdy and looks sleek allowing it to be worn for almost any occasion.
