Bought to cover some failing (low voltage) wires and this does the job. Stretches a lot and then wrap around what you need to seal - appears to adhere to itself and forms a good waterproof join. Have used outside on 12v system and works well. Can be a bit tricky to use at it sticks to itself so well but once you get the hand of it not too difficult to apply. Found a few uses for it since what I'd bought it for and would probably always keep some in the 'toolbox' from now on!

This tape is great for the purpose I bought it for, which is to provide a waterproof seal for an aerial cable. My only negative is that it’s difficult to use in the wet, but that’s understandable really and asking a lot of any tape. On the whole it’s easy to use. But tricky to get the backing tape off but one you do, it sticks to itself really well and it’s very stretchy

Really good stuff, sticks well without being sticky, stretches to make a secure hold.

I use this tape for every repair or for strengthening cables etc. If used properly it works like a charm and creates a strong bond. So far I've used this one to repair connector hoses from the gutter downpipe to garden water barrels, strengthened a connector cable from an iPad to a set of headphones and wrapped the handles of a pair of secateurs that had lost their grips.The evidence of the last roll I purchased is all around the house and garden, and the fact that I've bought an immediate replacement speaks volumes as I'm someone who will happily repurchase a successful product, but tries never to repeat a failure.

It’s too narrow - by the time it’s stretched so it bonds and self tightens it’s only 10-12 mm wide useless when trying to bind up a split in a hose or pipe. Needs to be 30-40 mm wide to start with.Is grips and self bonds to its self reasonably well though might be ok of vacuum lines up to maybe 8mm external diameter.For hose hold leaks - even temporary ones forget it.

i got this tape for the joints on my vertical amateur radio antenna ,it waterproofs the joints.

Have always used Rubbaweld in the past but that is more difficult to buy recently. Bought this alternative that appears to work as well so far.

Occorre "stirarlo" fino a duplicare o più la lunghezza, poi si procede alla installazione sempre mantenendolo ben teso. Non ha una grande capacità adesiva, ma il suo scopo non è quello. Si autoamalgama rapidamente e crea uno strato compatto. Lo comprerò ancora. Consegnato nei tempi previsti.

Me ha gustado el producto lo desconocía, lo he comprado por recomendación de un vecino.Lo he usado para aislar una conexión eléctrica que tenia en una arqueta y cada vez que llovia fuerte saltaban los magnetotermicos de la vivienda. Y parece que funciona.
